Xavier stared hard at the painting on the wall.

"Who is she?"

Lord Kim Tan looked away for a moment, his posture not giving anything. When his eyes returned back to Xavier, there was a glint in them.

"Someone really important to me, to my family."

The painting was a vivid depiction of a flourishing rose garden, the flowers coming in all shades and breeds of roses possible, all of them coming together to give an alluring appearance.

But the flower garden wasn't the center of attraction. No, the beauty of the surrounding paled in comparison to the young girl seated on a bench, fascinated eyes lifted to the sky as if reading from the very scripts of the universe, long strawberry blonde hair rustling from a gentle breeze.

"She's entrancing." No other words were fit enough to describe her.

Lord Kim Tan sighed but said no more. His silence allowed Xavier to consider the other elements of his surrounding.
