More Sad Shit

{Oh no, we are halfway there. How sad the trip is already coming to an end.}

The demon horse vitality pill had almost reached its time limit. The effects were starting to show: breathlessness and sweat and all.

The two had to move quicker if they wanted to escape into the darkness.

"We should make a sprint for it," the princess suggested.

But the seer did not hear; his mind was elsewhere.
