The Way Of The Tentacles

"Great, however, friend, you did still kill many civilians, so I do have to punish you," the Demon King spoke.

"Nah, man, absolutely. Just don't subject me to stuff you wouldn't want yourself to be subjected to, seeing as how we have similar tastes," the Seer readily agreed.

"Yes, death is so much better than living like a fucking blind or limp, I know... I have decided. I shall throw the two of you into the Unspelled Valley. Come out with the treasure inside, and all is forgiven. How about it?" suggested the Demon King.

The annoyed and complaining faces of the Demon King's associates turned peaceful, completely satisfied with the verdict.

"The treasure is valuable, so live or die, all is forgiven," said the Demon King as the other demons nodded frivolously.

They were expecting the Seer to die; it was clear that was the plan—the Seer to die.

"Okay, then. See ya when I see, human friend. I'll have my guards throw you into the unescapable pit."
