Carl's eyes sparkled as he smiled and nodded, "Congratulations in advance on marrying into a wealthy family and having a son born to you."

Alice Garcia shyly smiled and lightly tapped Carl's hand, "You're not too shabby either. You have Jane's song copyrights in your hands. Although she's now exposed for lip-syncing, and many of her songs have been taken down, classics are still classics. After some time, her songs will be back on the shelves."

Carl chuckled, "You know classics too?"

Alice Garcia's gaze turned cold, and she curled her lips.

Although she didn't want to admit it, that wicked Jane was born with a good voice, with a unique ethereal sound, effortlessly hitting high notes. Many of her songs were classics.

"Her ability to sing classics is useless. Her voice will be completely ruined soon, hahaha."

Alice Garcia revealed a sinister smirk, and Carl shuddered. Fortunately, he chose to team up with Alice Garcia. Otherwise, at this moment, he would be as miserable as Jane.

As they chatted, Alice Garcia received a message from Lisa. She was overjoyed and picked up her purse to leave, "I have something to do. I'll go first."

The message she received said that John had just received his divorce certificate and went to Ding Huang, where his two good friends went to accompany him, and they were currently drinking.

This was such a good opportunity that she couldn't waste it. She immediately went to Ding Huang.

She arrived at John's private room and hesitated at the door for a long time without going in.

It wasn't that she lacked confidence, but John was too excellent, with both looks and wealth, setting the ceiling for many people.

Just as a server came to deliver drinks, she took the tray and took a deep breath. Then, she pushed the door open with courage and walked in, only to be greeted by a strong smell of smoke and alcohol.

Kevin had sharp eyes and recognized her at a glance, "Oh, isn't this the star of Starlight?"

With a hint of sarcasm in his tone, Kevin said, "The spotlight does favor Alice Garcia, but unfortunately, she herself is not competent enough. She always chooses to play dull roles of wealthy ladies, and despite being in the entertainment industry for many years, she has no impressive works to showcase."

Alice Garcia naturally detected the sarcasm in Kevin's words, but she currently lacked the confidence to confront him. Plus, John was present, so she just smiled and said, "I came to see Mr. John."

She poured drinks for John and herself, and naturally sat beside him. Holding her glass with an innocent smile, she said, "Mr. John, I know you are not in a good mood. So, I came here to accompany you for a drink."

John was already quite drunk, and his vision had become blurry. He vaguely saw Jane, the young girl, smiling at him and calling him "John brother." He reached out and pulled her into an embrace, saying, "Okay, you accompany me."

Feeling the embrace of her idol, Alice Garcia's heart skipped a beat. Without any hesitation, she clinked her glass with John's. But before she could take a sip, he snatched her glass away and said, "How many times have I told you? Girls shouldn't drink alcohol. Why don't you listen?"

Alice Garcia was both surprised and delighted. She blinked her heavily mascaraed eyes and gazed at John fondly.

John finished both glasses of alcohol and said, "Jane, be a good girl."

Hearing the name "Jane," Alice Garcia's scalp tingled, and she felt the urge to kill Jane.

When Jane opened her eyes again, she found herself in the hospital. She fainted, and only Jack was with her. He was too young to have brought her to the hospital.

"Jane, you're awake," a clear male voice sounded beside her, and she turned to see who it was, only to be stunned.
