After the red flash faded, our eyes gradually got used to the brightness of the scenery before us.
"Woah..."
At a glance, I could tell we were really in a different dimension... No, a different world.
We're standing in an open field, surrounded by grasslands in all directions. A little distance ahead was a wide, sparkling lake, as if it were filled with little peanut lights along the edge.
Beyond the lake was a thick forest, one that I could tell was more than thousands of years old from a glance. Each tree was taller than the ones in front of them, showing how the trees were getting younger the closer they were to the edge.
But the deciding factor for their age was their height. I don't know much about trees, but for them to grow over a kilometer tall, that should've taken thousands, if not tens of thousands of years at least.
