The Mysterious Girl

My head felt as if it were cracked open, while aliens fiddled with it using random probes. It was so painful that my vision went pure white.

"...!"

No, this... isn't my vision. A memory...?

I tried to look around, but it was as if my point of view didn't change at all. Staring straight into a white space with nothing in sight.

Scratch that, there's actually something... or rather, someone.

A woman stood in the far distance, far enough that I couldn't tell anything about her other than her flowing pale-gold hair, her white dress blending in the background, and her lips moving as if shouting something to me.

However, she was too far away for me to even attempt to read her lips. One thing I could tell from her expression was the intense worry she was showing for me.

'Worry? For what?'

As if affected by her feelings, a faint sense of doubt and worry budded in my chest.
