"So.. Why is he with us for lunch?" Amani leaned in and whispered to y/n. Making sure the brown haired boy wouldn't hear.

Y/n glanced at Jungkook before looking over at Amani. Y/n shrugged softly, as she too didn't know why Jungkook was with them. All she knew is she was grateful to be out from that closet with Jungkook.

"So y/n, does Amani know how bad you are at math?" He starts. The girl rolls her eyes and just continues to chew her food.

"And do you know how ugly you look when you eat?" Amani snickered in which Jungkook scoffed. He opened his mouth to speak but was cut off.

"Ah, there you are! I've been looking all over for you!" A familiar soft spoken voice had rung through Jungkook's ears.

(Y/N's pov)

"Ah, there you are! I've been looking all over for you!" Oh god. Not serena.

Serena was Jungkook's ex. You knew this because they were basically inseparable during their relationship. Kissing and hugging around every corner of the school. Even got known as the most attractive couple in school.

You notice Jungkook becomes tense and wears an unreadable expression on his face. The sort of expression you've never really seen from him before.

"Oh.. Hey, Serena." Jungkook directs his attention over to her and sends a smile. But why did that smile seem fake? Of course you've rarely seen Jungkook's smile when he's talking to you because he's usually yelling or having that smug look on his face.

So how would you know his fake smile from his real? You don't. But you have this feeling in you that senses something is up with them. Wether its good or bad, there's some tension.

But what pair of ex's wouldn't have tension?

Serena sits down next to jungkook and leans her head on his shoulder. Amani and you just look at each other and shrug before continuing to eat. Not caring enough to figure out their situation. It's not your business.

"Omg, y/n, i love your nails! theyre so cute!" Serena says and smiles. Her smile seems genuine as there shouldnt be any reason why it wouldnt be.

"Thank you so much." You accept her compliment and smile. For some reason you feel awkward. Was it because jungkook and his ex were being touchy in front of you. Or was it because Serena has never talked to you up until now. Or because you're eating in front of the most prettiest girl in the school. Or because you fee-

"Y/n?" Amani snaps you out of your thoughts as you were already overthinking every little thing in existence.

"Hm?"

"Lets go, Lunch is almost over." She says, standing up with her trash in her hands, ready to leave; you do the same as her.

You both leave Jungkook and Serena at the table. As you walk by them you can't help but notice Serena begins to whisper something to jungkook.

You're not the type of person to be nosy but god you couldn't help it.

Yoy see jungkook's face expression change to an angered look. Something you've never seen. Even when he was mad at you for dinner last night.

Yes he was angry. But this? This looked different.
