Diana Stewart the girlfriend and future fiancee of Aaron Sterling had a one night stand with Ethan Sterling (Aaron's cousin). Lost in His Love

"My resignation letter." Diana said as she dropped the envelope on his table.

"What did you say?" Ethan asked as he thought he didn't hear what she said properly.

"It's my resignation letter." Diana repeated as Ethan stared at her.

"I want to resign from the sterling group." She spoke.

"Diana why are you doing this? Is it because of what happened?" He asked.

"I already made myself clear that I wouldn't do something that would harm you and the children." Ethan assured as he walked up to her.

"Sir, it's not about the children, I do no longer feel comfortable working here anymore so please will you approve the resignation." She pleaded as Ethan took a step back, picked up the envelope and tore it into pieces.

"I'm sorry but I can't approve your resignation based on that explanation." He spoke.

"Besides, you didn't give us a one month notice before handing in your resignation letter, so I don't approve it."

"Mr. sterling, I already have someone to replace me on the job." She said as Ethan widened his eyes, a smirk formed at the edge of his lips.

"Wow Diana! I completely underestimated you so all this just to get rid of me." He smirked.

"We both know quite well that if I decide to take the children by force, there is nothing you and the Peters family can do." He said as Diana broke out in a cold sweat.

"Well, with all that you've said, we can't just bring in some random stranger who knows nothing about the business into the sterling group." Ehan said as he went back to his seat.

"Oh? if that's all you should please excuse me; I would like to be alone Miss Peters." Ethan said as Diana gritted her teeth.

"What do you have for me? Any news?" Grandpa sterling asked as he circled his wine glass.

"Sir, we just got some information from our men that Miss Peters went to submit her resignation letter at the sterling group." The guard spoke.

"And what did Ethan do?" Grandpa sterling asked.

"He didn't accept the resignation letter instead his attitude towards her was rather surprising." He replied.

"What do you mean by surprising?" He asked.

"He spoke to her rather indifferent from the way he usually does." He explained.

"And the children?" Grandpa sterling inquired.

"They are at home; Diana forbids them from going to school." He replied as Grandpa Sterling nodded his head and signaled for him to leave.

"For once Ethan did what I least expected but what could he be planning?" He thought
