(Morgan Agathias)
Supplies of wheat and peas, sufficient for the next few months, may last for a year. Father brought three sacks of wheat and peas from the town hall. Mother is very clever at processing existing ingredients into delicious food. Pea soup that looks delicious. We enjoyed pea soup, accompanied by a strawberry jam sandwich that Lyra gave me. The five of us enjoyed eating together at a narrow dining table, but it invited many pleasant memories.
Lyra and her mother ate alone. I didn't want to show my pity for her, Lyra would feel angry, that braided-haired girl didn't want anyone to pity her.
My peace at home was only temporary, in academics several pairs of eyes stared at me. Their stares were strange, but I as usual, didn't care about their stares. Strangely, I'm being stared at like that, even though I haven't done anything to bother them in the slightest. The troublemaker, messy-haired David and his friends blocked my path.
They are like a plague horde that is always annoying, never satisfied, and always causing problems. This time I was wondering, what other problems made that messy-haired boy look at me cynically?
"Great! This level 10 weakling is so haughty, challenging the leader of a noble clan." David shouted, inviting several pairs of eyes to watch us.
"What a compliment. You accept that Morgan's magic spirit power is only level 10, he can dare to challenge the leader of a noble clan."
"That's none of your business, barbarian girl!"
David may insult me, but I will not allow anyone to insult Lyra, even calling her a barbarian girl. I put my body up, protecting Lyra from that annoying boy. The tension and atmosphere are increasingly heated. David is a man who does not want to give in and even likes to put others down. It seemed like his head had hit again, forgetting that his father had to try to be a sycophant for the nobles in the royal capital, while his son was proud of those who had made everyone's lives miserable.
"Noble clan leaders like them won't accept your insults, Morgan." His lips turned upwards, deliberately mocking me. Proud of those above, really very humiliated.
My hands clenched tightly. "Better than being their slave. Don't forget, your father became their sycophant right?!" I said sarcastically.
"Don't insult my father!" David shouted, annoyed and angry. His face even flushed, red with embarrassment.
He can insult me and make me angry, and there's nothing wrong if I turn his words around and make him angry. He acts like a bossy boss, simply because David is the mayor's son. But I feel very sorry for the mayor, the old man is very kind to the residents of the Valley of the Hills district. Willing to sycophant the people of the royal capital, just for the sake of begging for mercy to help the people of the Valley of the Hills. While his son is proud of those above.
I'm not the same as David and his father who dared to threaten the noble clan leader.
Brave enough to fight against that messy-haired boy, while burning with soaring anger, like a flame that billows smoke. The field was filled with several students eager to watch the fight. I didn't want to deal with David, but the messy-haired man pissed me off and made me even more emotional when he wanted to beat up Lyra.
Bumps and punches changed everything, moving onto the court. Without warning, David pointed his fist at me. I'm known to be very quick and easy to dodge opponent's attacks, David's punches only hit empty air. He didn't know that I was already behind him. My legs feel flexible, dodging the pounding. David had a really hard time attacking me, just because I dodged his attacks.
Swearing and throwing curses, deliberately wanted to provoke my anger like before. Truly, I will not goaded by his words. Only gives satisfaction to vent anger.
"You are nothing more than a loser who can only run. Where is your prowess that can defeat the leader of a great noble clan?! Everything is just your lies."
I'm not like my Father who can still be patient, holding back anger. Even though I've said many times that I'm not swayed by his words. I was hooked too. My feet clad in leather shoes smashed into his jaw, and his head lifted. More than that, David fell to the ground, his lips dripping fresh blood.
My heart was beating very fast, my breath was irregular. The kick just now was strong enough, enough to take my anger out on someone I wanted so badly to shoot in the head, but unfortunately, I didn't have a bow and arrow. If this happens, there may be another new problem.
Several pairs of eyes looked at me, their gazes made me even more annoyed and I wanted to leave here. I wanted to vomit and disappear for a while, not wanting to see the strange looks of everyone. I think the look in their eyes at me is weird or it's just my feeling. I was enveloped in anger.
Getting away from those disgusting stares was the solution, ignoring those two girls calling out to me. I choose to seek peace that will not bother me anymore. Ignoring that there were other subjects today, I decided not to enter, heading back out of the academic gates. Looking for a place to calm down from my mind which is currently very chaotic.

The forest is a place to calm down, but, back home. The atmosphere in the house. Helen had returned home, the pale girl was spitting out her anger at me. She rediscovered her grumpy nature, seeing her was like seeing myself. The difference was, that Helena openly scolded me for daring to skip class and fight.
I've never been like this before, for some reason this time I'm very different from my previous self. Easily carried away by emotions, offended, and looking for an outlet. The people from the royal capital came to Hill Valley and had a bad impact on me, bringing with them the hatred that I had been trying to keep bottled up and finally just spilled out.
Yes, I hate them.
Dinner went silent, there was no conversation and it was like there was something they were all hiding from me. Father looks very neat today, apart from that, I saw him in the room putting something into a bag.
"Dad, where do you want to go?" I asked.
"Tomorrow accompany me to Calista."
My eyebrows shot up. Why did Father ask me to accompany him to the royal capital? The capital Calista is the capital of the Kingdom of Andalus. I have never gone far in my life, only around the Valley of the Hills district, I have never even gone to another district. Limited public transportation and not to mention very complicated travel permits.
Many questions filled my head, urging him to provide answers. Father is good at pissing me off just by being silent, making it hard for me to sleep. Looking for a comfortable position to be able to sleep and find the answer the next day.
Unnoticed, morning arrived so quickly. I feel like I just fell asleep a few hours ago, after that, I have to get up very quickly and get ready to go with Father to Calista, the royal capital. Mother insisted on bringing two boxes of bread and apples for our long journey, Gisella was getting ready to go to school, and so was Helen who was getting ready. I asked Helen to convey a message to Lyra that I would go to Calista today. The braid-haired girl would surely panic if she was not informed of my sudden departure.
The distance from the Valley of the Hills to Calista took three days, taking an old train from the district town station. Only two days in Calista, after Father's business is finished, I will return to the Valley of the Hills. The station was at the end of a narrow alley, the building was just as weathered, some of the buildings in the Valley of the Hills district were very weathered and unkempt, it took a few gold coins just to renovate some of the weathered buildings.
The queues were quite long, not to mention the useless sheets of paper as a condition for permits to travel long distances. Father reached for coins that were not small, and I thought of something a little. How will we get home later? The journey alone is very far, not to mention the price of train tickets that are not cheap.
"Morgans." A voice that I know so well and a warm hug that I will never forget. Lyra hugged me so tight that ly, the girl with braided hair was unwilling to let me go. Helen panted following Lyra from behind, the distance between the Magical Academy and the city station was not that far.
Assuring her that I would be fine and would come back here, in just a few days I went to Calista. Lyra walked me to the platform and again, the girl with braided hair hugged me. I don't know what's wrong with Lyra, whose behavior seems strange today. But what I think is, all this time Lyra and I have always been together. This first time I left her far away.
Until I entered the train, from behind the window. The girl's eyes seemed reluctant to let me go. She had a bad feeling that might happen when Father and I arrived at Calista.
