Lowell and I were taken aback. I'm not sure if he heard everything we said, but he seemed serious and concerned at the same time.
"Where is Gurion?" I asked nervously, hoping to lighten his mood.
"Acwulf took him for a stroll," he replied, clenching his jaws and holding his temper.
"How much did you hear?" I inquired.
"Since he confessed his feelings," he said, looking away insecurely.
So technically, he had heard everything. I felt bad, but it was his fault for listening in on our conversation.
"Are you possibly jealous?" I wondered.
"Would you be upset if I was?" he asked.
"Nope—it's natural to feel jealous from time to time; I can even feel jealous; I just don't show it to anyone," I replied honestly, smiling at him to cheer him up.
He sat beside me, holding my hand and resting his head on my shoulder.
"Is there a reason you're going there?" He asked as he pushed me onto the bed and hugged me tightly.
