Macan suddenly entered the room and saw me crying in Dillon and Lowell's tight embrace. He froze for a moment and looked worried and confused. "A-Ari?" he stammered.
Dillon and Lowell locked their gazes on him as if trying to frighten him away. I saw his fur rise while his tail froze for a split second as if threatened by the other males' glare.
I sighed, trying to compose myself, and apologized, "Sorry for barging in," as I explained, "I lost my way, then they suddenly pulled me in."
"Hmm... I see..." he muttered in a low voice as his gaze suddenly landed on my neck.
His brow furrowed for some reason as he tightened his fist. I became aware and hurriedly examined myself in the mirror, prompting me to gasp and cover my mouth while screaming inside. I felt so embarrassed looking at the reflection of my neck in the mirror. Realizing what Macan saw, I locked my focus on the two perpetrators.
