The Priest Temptation

The Solace temple stood tall and proud, its intricate architecture catching the warm rays of sunlight that filtered through the colorful stained glass windows. The sweet scent of incense filled the air, as the soothing sound of the ringing bell echoed throughout the capital.

As Beatrice settled into her seat in front of the stunning Solariel depiction, she felt a sense of calm wash over her. Her troubled heart began to ease, thanks to the gentle presence of the temple.

She closed her eyes, letting the peaceful atmosphere seep into her soul.  However, her heart was hollow despite her prayers.

But it wasn't God that she came to the temple for - it was the priest. She couldn't get him out of her mind and found herself drawn to the temple just to be near him. Sometimes, she would share details of her nightmares with him just to have an excuse to talk to him.

She felt a strange mixture of admiration, longing, and even lust toward him but at the same time, she was terrified. It was a confusing and unsettling sensation, given that she had never felt this way towards anyone before, except for one man…

But now she comes here not to just meet Gilbert. She needed to end things with him, for her own sake. 'I can't keep doing this, I need to forget about him and move on with Edward,' Beatrice thought to herself with a heavy heart.

She felt a mix of guilt and shame for what had happened between her and Gilbert, but also a sense of determination to make things right.

As Beatrice sat lost in thought, a gentle touch on her shoulder made her jump. Turning to see who it was, she was met with the sight of the priest, his kind smile instantly putting her at ease.

It was the Priest - Gilbert - . He was tall and broad-shouldered, with brown hair that framed his face perfectly. His smile made Beatrice's knees weak. As he sat next to her, she felt like a small angel statue singing a song of love to her.

But still, she needs to end all of this. "Gilbert, I want to tell you that this is the last time I will come to you," Beatrice said, her voice heavy with emotion.

She couldn't help but feel drawn to Gilbert, his charming smile and gentle touch sending shivers down her spine. It was like forbidden fruit, something she knew she shouldn't indulge in, but couldn't resist.

But as she thought of Edward, her heart sank with a heavy sense of obligation. The weight of her engagement was suffocating, and yet she couldn't deny the feelings that were growing within her for Gilbert. It was a complicated web of emotions that left her feeling lost and confused.

"What happened, my lady? Why would you say that all of a sudden?" Gilbert asked with a sad expression, making Beatrice's heart feel even heavier. But she knew she needed to stay strong.

"I'm sorry, Gilbert. I know we are not in any relationship but I hope you can understand that I need to do this for my own good and for the sake of my engagement with Edward." She looked at him with sadness in her eyes, hoping he could understand her decision.

Before she knew it, Gilbert's arms were wrapped around her, and she was seated on top of him. She could feel his muscular chest against her back, and it sent shivers down her spine. His hands moved down her arms and hands, and Beatrice felt like she was on fire.

Then, his hands covered hers in the form of praying, and he leaned his head on her shoulder. She could hear his breath in her ear, and it made her crazy with desire.

"I'm in love with you. Haven't I already made it clear enough for you?" Gilbert's hands gently held Beatrice's face as he spoke, his expression both sad and angry.

Beatrice tried to push him away, even though her heart ached for him. "Esteemed priest, please stop this. I need to end this," she said firmly, struggling to free herself from his grasp.

But Gilbert was faster, seizing her hands and kissing them seductively. "I don't care, Beatrice. I would do anything for you, even betray the gods themselves if it meant being with you," he whispered passionately.

Beatrice was at a loss for words. She didn't know how to answer, but what she did know was that she desired him more than anything.

She wanted to feel his body against hers, to ride him with such passion that he would become crazy. She wanted to hear him call out her name, to feel his touch all over her body.

But then she thought of Edward and became guilty all over again. She couldn't betray him, she needed to uphold her family's reputation and obligation. She needed to stop it, 'But I wanted this, I wanted Gilbert' she thought to herself. Before she could say anything else, Gilbert kissed her passionately.

It was the first time Beatrice had ever kissed anyone like that. Even now, she was a virgin, but she wanted Gilbert more than anything. His tongue licked her lips, and she opened her mouth eagerly. The kiss was like fire burning inside her, and she wanted him even more.

As the kiss deepened, Gilbert's hands moved to Beatrice's back, pulling her closer to him. His tongue explored her mouth, making her moan softly as her hands ran through his hair.

Beatrice couldn't believe how much she was enjoying this. It felt so wrong, yet so right at the same time. She wanted to explore every inch of Gilbert's body, to feel him inside her, and she knew he wanted the same.

But still, "Please stop this, Gilbert," Beatrice said, struggling to push him away even as she moaned in the heat of the moment. But Gilbert seemed determined to continue.

Gilbert's hands moved down to her waist, pulling her closer to his lap. It makes Beatrice startled. She could feel the heat of his body against hers, and it only fueled her desire for him.

Their tongues danced together as if they were exploring each other's souls. Beatrice felt like she was losing herself in the passion, but she didn't care. All that mattered was Gilbert and the way he made her feel.

But as the kiss ended, Beatrice couldn't help but feel guilty all over again. She was engaged to Edward, and what she had just done with Gilbert was not right. But she couldn't deny the lustful desire she felt for him.

Beatrice then stand up, her body trembling and she was crying, "I can't, I'm sorry I need to go." she then get out of the temple.

But before that, her hands holding back by Gilbert, "I can't stop, Beatrice. I'm too in love with you," he said, his voice heavy with desire as he leaned in to kiss her again and wiped her tears.

Beatrice's head was spinning, torn between her own desires and her duty to Edward. "Gilbert, please, I have to end things with you. I can't betray Edward like this," she said, her voice wavering as she tried to resist him.

"But I love you, Beatrice," Gilbert said, his eyes locking onto hers. "Don't you feel the same way? Don't you want to be with me?"

Beatrice hesitated for a moment, her heart racing as she looked into Gilbert's pleading eyes. But in the end, she knew what she had to do.

"I'm sorry, Gilbert. I can't do this anymore. Goodbye," she said firmly, pulling away from him and turning to leave.

As she walked away, she could feel Gilbert's eyes on her back, filled with longing and sadness. But she knew that she had made the right decision. It was time to put her past behind her and focus on the future, even if it meant letting go of the man she had once loved.

The night air was crisp as Beatrice arrived at Devonshire Manor, feeling sad and shattered. She didn't know what happened to her, it feels like Gilbert has some kind of witchcraft that makes her yearn for him and make her into this mess.

Beatrice's eyes are still swollen because of crying non-stop on the way home. It feels like her world fell apart and she didn't know what would've happened next as she felt empty. She really wanted to be with him, she wanted to touch him and make him hers.

She wanted to hear her voice every day, saying good morning to her, as they would grow old together. But now, it was impossible to do that. Right now, she felt like being Devonshire was a curse for her. If she was an ordinary lady, she would be happy with Gilbert now.

As Beatrice walked through the halls of the grand Devonshire manor, she felt a sense of sadness and desperation. The moonlight illuminated her path, casting a gentle glow on the intricate decorations that adorned the walls.

Suddenly, she noticed a room that was slightly open, and the sounds coming from inside made her pause. The room was lit, and she could see the outlines of two people engaged in a steamy embrace.

"Ohh.. give me more, you'll become better at this," the woman moaned loudly. Beatrice could see the man's blonde hair and broad figure.

"Ah, yes mam, I will try my best, ah…" the man moaned in response. It was clear that he was inexperienced in such matters.

She tried to hold back her sobs as she backed away from the door, but her emotions were too much to bear.

She collapsed to the ground, her body trembling with a mix of rage and despair. The sound of the couple's moans now only added fuel to her pain, reminding her of the betrayal that had just occurred.

It was a moment that Beatrice would never forget, one that would forever change the course of her life. She was left alone in the hallway, her heart shattered into a million pieces, unsure of where to begin or what to do next. The two of them were—-
