A Life Debt

Aiden looked at the surprised man in front of him and hissed in frustration before he seized his gun from him and he disassemble the gun with a flash speed, pouring the content to the ground.

"Sloppy," Aiden says amused looking at the blond man cladded in black attire gazing at him and the man bowed his head in embarrassment.

The servants that heard the sound of gunshots rushed into the room but when they saw the state of the room they were shocked what even shocked them more was their boss's unfazed attitude when facing the attacker.

"I'm sorry to disappoint you boss," the man that just attacked Aiden apologized.

Boss? Did they know each other? The servants looked at their selves with questions about how someone could attack their master. That was the questions lingering in their mind while looking at the scene in front of them.

"I asked you to surprise me not irritate me, Devin," Aiden lamented walking back towards the scattered living room, he looked at the gaping servants and shot them a glare and they all scampered back to their various assignments.

Devin had been Aiden's right-hand man after he saved him from a gang after his life since then he had helped with his business and he had sworn his alliance to him if you are wondering why he attacked his boss, then you should already know why.

"For a while there I thought you were doing a good job not until you shifted the flower pot," Aiden says with a pessimistic chuckle, and Devin's eyes widened.

Flower pot? How could anyone hear that sound that was like 20 meters away and he just shifted it so it could feed on the sun?

"But that was....," Devin says trailing off but he later asked. "How did you know boss,".

"Don't forget that this man was once blind and my sense of hearing is higher than the average usual human," Aiden says resting his head on the couch.

Devin looked at his boos resting his head on the couch and he grieved in his mind for his lonely boss and he makes a resolution, whoever makes his boss suffered must pay back in tenfolds

Devin nodded his head in affirmation and he looked at his boss in admiration like he was a hero.

Devin eyes shoot up to the mess his gunshot made on the floor and he quickly rushed towards it not trying to irritate his boss but Aiden's voice halted his actions.

"Leave it that is not the kind of mess you should be taking care of," he says Devin stopped and he looked up at his boss.

Aiden is not someone that cares about anyone's well-being but he sure cares about his men and he makes sure to protect their pride.

"What do you find out before coming, "Aiden asked twirling the TV remote in their hands like his treasured possession.

"The tools will be getting to the city soon but Gerald send a warning," Devin says and he gulped in fear waiting for his boss's outburst.

Aiden looked at Devin lazily and his expression darken even more when he heard someone in this world was bold enough to threaten him but he didn't make a fuss instead he kept quiet and that gave Aiden the cue to go ahead.

"He says if he doesn't see his return back in 2 weeks then he will not seat still," Devin reported.

Aiden busted into rounds of laughter after gearing that and Devin wondered if he had said something wrong he doesn't think so but since he doesn't know what goes on in his boss's head he kept quiet.

"Tell him he would see his return in five days, "Aiden says after his laughing fest. "Gerald sure doesn't dream big,".

Aiden looked at the cracked TV screen that had stopped working because of the gunshot and he looked grieved.

"Order another TV immediately and I want one bigger than this, "Aiden says with much enthusiasm and Devin looked at him shocked.

When does my boss like watching TV? Devin wondered.

"Ok boss, "Devin reply his boss and he tried to enter the main house so he can settle in since he just came back.

"Find anything on the Brooke," he asked and his aura darkened making the atmosphere in the living room gloomy and Devin swallowed hard in fear.

Devin knew his boss well than anybody but how was he going to tell him that he doesn't find anything?

"I... I...," Devin started stuttering and that was the confirmation that Aiden needs to know that he doesn't have anything to offer.

And when Aiden decided to explode Jim ran into the house panting.

"Boos this is.....," he was saying but his voice got caught up in his throat when he saw the messed up living room and what even added to his shock was the disassembled gun in the ground.

A gun? A gun in the living room, Jim thought but he swallowed hard not spurting out his question.

Jim is just a regular worker and to him, his boss is just a regular boss that gets lucky to have rich parents but he was wrong.

Aiden is not just your ordinary regular boss, he was far more dangerous than that.

"I finally got my hand on her some of her upcoming projects and these are some of her magazines" Jim reported lowly still wary of the gun on the ground.

"Ohh really, "Aiden yelled springing up from his seat and he rushed to collect the files from Jim which shocked Devin and Jim.

What eagerness!!!

Devin has never seen his boss this eager before especially not something so trivial like a magazine but the boss he had grown to admire was smiling heartily because of a magazine.

Aiden looked at the project trying to look for one to sponsor but his eyes squint into a V shape in confusion wondering why that name appeared on every of her project.

"Why does the name keep appearing in every one of her projects," Aiden mumbled slowly trying to figure out what was going and the two men in front of him just looked at the deliberating man in silence.

"So this is it, "Aiden scoffed dropping the files angrily on the ground and the men looked at him in confusion.

Wasn't he just eager to go through it earlier? The two men looked at Aiden that his mood just changes like spring weather but they didn't say anything.

Aiden wasn't a novice even though he thought might be wrong he knew there was a connection somewhere but he was not yet convinced.

"Looks like I need to rake off the Brooke earlier, "Aiden mumbled to himself.

You might be wondering why Aiden is after the Brookes, it's just that Brooke has a life debt to pay Aiden and he is going to make them pay it back ten folds.

"I don't know what you will need to find on the Brooke but I want something on them before today runs out, "Aiden ordered taking heavy strides out of the room.

"How did you plan to hit them, "Devin asked and Jim looked at the quizzically.

"Hit them when they least expect," Aiden mutters his eyes squinted dangerously when a painful memory flashed through his eyes but he blinked or bbackedregaining his earlier countenance.

Aiden strutted onto the stairs his steps clanking hard on the porcelain tiles and his shoulder dropped in sadness.

"What does the boss have against Brooke, "Jim asked Devin not understanding the indisputable hate he had towards them.

"The Brooke had a life debt to pay and big boss he is going to make them pay in tenfolds," Devin says and his aura also darkened remembering how his boss had suffered, and that even gave him more determination to help his boss.

"Take my bags in I am going out, "Devin announced taking large strides out of the living room but Aiden's voice halted his voice.

"Devin, if you have the time can you please get me a girl that had chestnut hair and hazel eyes," Aiden says and Devin was confused about the description.

"And Jim can you please try to get your hands on her schedule,".

"Her schedule?"Jim asked no one in particular.

Does the boss think he was a superman for him to ask him to get him someone's schedule.

And why her schedule? Is the boss adding stalking to his schedule now? Jim thought.

Aiden walked back upstairs with the picture of the girl still flooding his head and that's why he resolves to fuck a chestnut-haired girl maybe he could get rid of her if he sleeps with one.

"This is driving me crazy," Aiden mutters.....
