Can He Not Tolerate Girls?

Devin's ears shoot up when he heard that Dylan caught their trick.

"Boss he caught up on the wiretap," Devin reported to his boss but Aiden didn't say anything.

Aiden was the man that was beside the private room Dylan was in and he had been eavesdropping on their conversation.

He can't say he didn't expect him to be quick-witted to catch on to the flaws of the men he sent to him but he was even more capable and he exceeds his expectations and that irks him.

"What are we going to do now boss our plan to get into Brooke's business just fouled," Devin lamented and his face dropped like a baby deprived of candy.

Aiden finished eating not yet replying to Devin's fear, he wiped his mouth elegantly and dropped the napkin down like a gentleman before he says anything.

"We are on a spree of revenge you don't lose a chance because every opportunity is worth exploring," Aiden says his eyes squint calculative.

"Sometimes you have to aim at the right to shoot your enemy at the left," Aiden says and Devin's eyes crease up in confusion not understanding what his boss meant.

Aiden looked at the locket in his hands and his heart twisted in pain and grief he promises himself this pain he won't feel alone.

He acquired power all this while so he can remain undefeated, he had grit his teeth in pain enduring all injustice against him because he knows there was going to be a day that he would get revenge on them. for making him on through all those agonies and sleepless nights.

His first moves against Brooke started already because he thinks they should start playing.

That was why he started by trying to get involved in their business and he made the move to get involved in the new city mall project he was investing in the future but he looks like he had to step up his game because Dylan doesn't look like a trivial opposition.

"Then I think I have to meet them then, "Aiden says and he stood up from his seat walking out of the private room.

Devin looked at his boss in a haze, he is going to meet them soon, Devin thought and he wanted to say something but when he saw his boss dropped shoulder he stopped himself.

"Let me leave him to grief," Devin murmured.

After Dylan left the private room he was already brewing with anger.

Who dared mess with me? he thought and he got more furious that he doesn't know the kind of weapon this person is holding and if the person is an enemy or ally.

His assistant tried to keep up with the pace of his fuming boss but he still tries to stay at arm's length not trying to irritate his already irritated boss.

Being an assistant to one of the top CEO is sure tough!!.

"Beep beep," a phone rang out and Charles looked around for the source of the noise because it knows he can't be him and not his big boss but his thought trailed off when Dylan picked up it again and switched off his alarm.

Alarm? The CEO? Charles's thoughts run wild but he kept his crazy thoughts to himself.

"Are you home," Dylan texted her.

Sandra was just getting home after a long day and she just slipped into her living room after different naggings coming from Becky all she just wanted was to dip herself into a nice tub but her phone buzzes up with a message.

She saw Dylan text and she arched an eyebrow, why was he asking that? Sandra asked no one in particular but she reply anyways.

"Yes I am, "Sandra lazily dropped her phone on the table knowing he won't call back but immediately her phone buzzed again and she almost ran out in fright.

What's going on? Why does he reply immediately? Sandra thought before she picked up her phone and saw the message.

"I am coming," she read and she looked at the message like she was trying to decipher a secret code.

Why is he coming? don't we both agree that we needed space, Sandra thought but she doesn't say anything as she flickered her phone.

Back at the restaurant, Dylan was so busy thinking about how to improve his relationship with Sandra since he has only a month's grace.

He knew she wanted to get out of his grasp and he doesn't understand the reason he was so lost in thought that he didn't notice an attack on its way but when he raised his head he saw a lady plunging towards him.

His assistant eyes widened in shock.

"Ahhhh," the lady shrieked loudly falling towards Dylan she looked at him with a hopeful eye so he could catch her but that was a wrong move because Dylan shifted out of her way.

"Pah" the lady landed on the ground and the fall was so quick that no one was able to process what was happening.

"Ceceila," a girl with blond hair packed in two buns shrieked loudly running towards the girl.

All the people in the restaurant looked at the pitiful girl and they all knew Dylan could save her from the fall but he choose not and they dare not say anything.

He was a Brooke anyways and he was Dylan.

Dylan looked at the scene in front of him with a nonchalant attitude and he resumed his walk but the girl winced voice halted his steps and his assistant face palmed his face knowing the girl was courting death.

"Mr. Brooke you could have helped so why did you let me fall," the lady called Cecilia asked Dylan and she added a pained voice so she can look more pitiful.

Dylan looked at the pretentious girl on the floor with revealing clothes that make her look like an escort but he doesn't say anything.

"What tripped you?"Dylan asked swaying away from the earlier question.

The girl's eyes twitched at the question because she wasn't expecting it and her silence planted a seed of doubts in the people's minds.

Does she really pretending to fall to make Dylan notice her, those were the lingering thoughts in the people's minds.

"There isn't any corner so are you going to say you trip," Dylan asked saying no more before he walked out of the restaurant.

Cecilia and her friend bowed their heads in shame seeing how their plans had been caught.

They planned to get close to the rumored CEO that detests the presence of girls around and what just happened ascertained the rumors.

Dylan walked out of the restaurant not giving a further explanation of the incident.

A pair of eyes looked at the scene that just transpired and he was more confused about his findings.

Can't he tolerate girls? Or he can't tolerate other girls? That was the lingering question on the figure's mind.

Dylan took brisk steps out of the restaurant and the chilly spring breeze blows at him flapping his black hair he makes his way to the parking lot before his phone blares up.

Dylan picked it up and checked the caller and he sighed heavily seeing the name displayed on the screen.

"Hello Dylan you there," the person on another side of the phone asked since he didn't hear Dylan saying anything.

"What?" he asked coldly already angered at the turn of events today and the only thing he wanted was to go and buried himself in her embrace.

"Come to Gennie bar the boys want to meet you," the parson says with a tone of urgency and Dylan furrowed his eyebrow in confusion.....
