The Culprit

Aiden looked at the scared girl and he burst into laughter. Becky looked at the man that was laughing like a maniac and she thought the face was somehow familiar until it clicked that he was the blue-haired jerk Sandra hate.

She looked at the man and she wondered what he have up on his sleeve.

"What did you mean that she was not the murderer," Ryan asked curiously.

Aiden smirked at the eager policeman and sneered, that if he was that curious he should have just investigated properly without jumping to conclusions about Sandra being the murderer, Aiden thought.

"Of course, I knew because I was there earlier today," Aiden says.

EARLIER THAT DAY.

Aiden looked at the premier hall and smirked wickedly knowing one of his plans was in motion he was waiting to see the expression on Dylan's face when the news hit him.

He can't just wait!!

"Boss," Devin called his boss from behind and Aiden just hummed in response not bothering to look at him and he knew it was better to say what was on his mind. "Why are we here?".

Aiden looked at Devin this time due to his questions when he saw the confused look on his face he tinted with tons of questions he knew he meant his question.

"We are here to see Dylan's reaction to our plan," he announced, and Devin arched an eyebrow in confusion.

Aiden knows that excuse wasn't plausible even to him, but he can't help it he wanted to see her at every cost and he also doesn't know the reason why.

He decided to come to the premiere because he knew she would be there and since she wasn't a social person that was the only place he could catch a glimpse of her.

They make their way to the building using the backdoor avoiding the reporters and they hang around until the event started.

He looked at the buzzing hall and how the celebrities mingled with each other, he remembered how he went to an award show with that person and his eyes moistened with tears remembering that blissful memory but they snatched her away from him and they are going to pay in tenfolds.

Aiden aura darken remembering his painful past and his murderous intent heightened up and Devin shifted away from Aiden because his aura was choking but his aura smoothened and calmed down like the ocean when he saw her walk in.

Aiden eyes followed her, her eyes glitters holding excitement, her lips creaked up in a smile and he wished he could take them in his.

Her perfect collarbone was dangling with a silver necklace around them and his eyes traveled down settling on her little exposed cleavage which was a result of her low-neckline gown and Aiden gulped his saliva.

What was this temptation, Aiden thought looking at her pale legs that were seeping out of her dress because of the slit it has at the front.

She is going to be the death of me, Aiden thought as he tears his eyes away from Sandra and he struggled with his breathing.

Devin noticed his boss hurried to breathe and he quickly run toward him.

"Are you okay boss?" he asked and Aiden breathed out saying he was okay.

Aiden looked at the bored event but his eyes returned to the smiling beauty and a thought came to his mind

What's this feeling? Aiden asked himself not understanding why a girl he hadn't known for a long time had his attention like that.

"What a showoff," he mumbled dangerously looking at Dylan who just makes his way into the hall he saw him look at Sandra and at that time he felt his breath seize.

"Boss the guys are on move now, "Devin reported to Aiden and he just nodded his head not bothering to tear his eyes from the two people that were busy touching themselves in the hall while the other people were watching the movie he was also not watching the movie.

Aiden had never felt a strong urge of killing someone so much but at that time he felt like he should just go and strangle Dylan to death.

But why was he so riled up? That was also the lingering question on his mind.

After the movie ended he noticed the smile of relief on Sandra's face and he also felt at ease but he saw Dylan pick up a call and his expression suddenly turns grim.

That's more like it, Aiden thought putting on a sardonic smile and he watches as how Dylan hurried out of the hall.

"Looks like the boys succeeded boss," Devin reported after they witnessed the disturbed look on Dylan's face.

After staying in the hall for a long time he decided to leave, but he sees Sandra going to the restroom Aiden's eyes trailed after her and he didn't know when his legs started moving on their own going after Sandra but despite walking mindlessly he makes sure to avoid the cameras.

He stood outside the restroom waiting for that face so he could tease her.

People cast a different glance at the black-dressed man but Aiden doesn't care he noticed a girl also entered the restroom, he noticed that she was taking longer but after some time, Sandra went out breathing a sigh of relief and the look on her face wasn't the one that shows he can tease so he decided to just leave after her.

Aiden walked through the passageway looking at Sandra's behind and he laughed at his pervert side.

She sure has what it takes to turn me up, Aiden thought amused looking at Sandra's hips that nudged as she walks.

He watched as she enter the hall back but someone in a hoodie suddenly bumped into him and the person scurried off without apologizing Aiden got annoyed by that but his eyes squinted when he smell something.

"Blood," Aiden mumbled turning back immediately and his eyes followed the figure.

He knew that smell well, he can smell anyone's intention even if they try to hide it and right now that person was smelling blood. The person was out to kill.

Aiden saw the figure enter the restroom and he wondered why but then it clicked there is no camera in the restroom.

"That's quite a convenient place to kill, "Aiden says amused and he hurried his steps to the restroom not wanting to miss the amusing show.

Aiden looked at the women in the argument and wondered if his senses were wrong because all they are doing was shouting at each other but he was wrong because the figure attacked in the black dress attacked the other lady with a hammer that Aiden didn't notice she was holding before.

"I should save this it's quite an interesting show," Aiden says bringing out his phone as he recorded how the figure kept attacking the defenseless woman on the ground he noticed the figure kept attacking her stomach and Aiden wondered.

Why her stomach? Aiden thought.

The figure stood up hurriedly after the body on the floor as gone cold but when the figure saw a phone recording the scene she panicked and decided to go for it Aiden eerie eyes make the figure back off and scurried out of the scene.

"What a coward," Aiden says looking at the face he had caught on camera and he glanced at the body on the ground.

"Humans are defenseless, aren't they?"Aiden murmured as he makes this out of the place.

BACK TO PRESENT

"So you mean you saw her getting killed, "Ryan asked not quite believing what he was hearing and the fact that Aiden still look relaxed after seeing that gruesome scene.

"Yeah, "Aiden says and he knew then what the police were thinking so he twisted his words. "I was scared that the culprit would come after me."

The people present looked at Aiden that claimed that he was afraid and they felt like a joke because the man in front of them doesn't look like someone scared.

"So you see the culprit's face," Ryan asked eagerly.

"Yeah, "Aiden affirmed and he looked towards someone present at the passageway.

"Her, "Aiden says pointing towards her...
