Before the spell could even reach Aesir, the same force that had saved Alexander rang as the spell faded to dust, only leaving the terrified gazed of the public.

During their stare-off, Daenerys had started by casting a minor illusion spell to make Aesir's mind blank out for a second then she quickly cast a corruption spell on his innate runes to access his soul, once the spell reached his soul, its second runic layer activated, changing its nature thus making it a cancerous sealing spell that would slowly seal all his sources of power.

After quick calculations, she noticed the spell would take too long to seal Aesir's power so she cast an individual time for formation on both his mind and his body; one would make his body and soul experience time thousands of times faster as the other would make his mind experience time much slower than it previously did, essentially making it impossible for him to notice her ruse.
