CHAPTER 25

Camilla's words seemed to slap William's face so hard that he didn't even flinch after that. William thought back to the piece of paper he found the day he first met Camilla. William remembered the words written on the paper very well. The words were like imprinted in his mind and hard once to forget.

  I'm just worried.

  Our first relationship was successful.

I do not wish to acknowledge that child as being my son in any way.

William couldn't think straight because that sentence kept going through his head. William couldn't believe Camilla wasn't a prostitute who had sold herself to a man. But she's a victim. Victim of sexual assault.

"Will, why are you keeping quiet? Are you surprised and sad to hear this?" Camilla asked because William still wouldn't move, say anything, or seem to want to say anything.

He just kept silent and kept silent until finally Camilla was disappointed because William acted according to her expectations.
