CHAPTER 48

"Are you sure you can persuade her, Will?" asked Mrs. Brown once again, trying to convince.

"She's my wife. So she will definitely listen to my words." said William smiling confidently. He then tried to knock on the door again. "Honey. I haven't eaten since yesterday afternoon. I'm missing lots due to unexpected job." said William.

He kept explaining to Camilla. "Sorry. I'm starving, honey. Do you want to starve your husband? "said William. Camilla kept quiet. It's still. William continued. He persisted.

"Okay, fine dear. You don't need to worry. I see on the dinner table there is my favorite chicken curry soup. I will eat it." William turned to the dining table. He opened the lid of the bowl of stale chicken curry soup.

An unpleasant smell immediately spread throughout the room when the lid of the bowl was opened.

"William, it's stale. Don't eat it!" Mrs. Brown tried to prevent William from eating the stale chicken curry soup.
