Daniel
I had been sparring with Alex on the training ground vending my anger and frustration at him. I hated how he expressed himself about Aria back in the dining room. I didn’t want anyone to think of her like that.
“What’s it to you, Daniel? Why do you care so much?” Cole reprimanded me.
“I don’t know, Cole. And don’t start lecturing me, please. I am not in the mood,” I replied to my wolf as I avoided another strike from Alex.
As if my senses awakened, I looked sideways and saw Aria dressed in tight sports leggings and a crop top walking past the training ground and taking the path that led to the forest and the nearby lake. Walking with a straight posture, she was the epitome of beauty. She looked stunning with no makeup on and her hair high in a ponytail. Aria noticed me staring and averted her gaze, walking faster. I made her uncomfortable, especially after what happened between us in the kitchen.
