CHAPTER 11 Suspicious Changes

　　"Don't show unnecessary affection. It makes me weak and it makes me want to hold on to you for much longer."

　　Kendra's POV

　　When my eyes opened, the first I saw was Johann sleeping beside me. 

　　I touched his face and stared at him for a long time. 

　　I uttered as if I was talking to him, "Today is the day we will finalize our divorce, and I just want you to know that I never regretted a thing. I never regretted marrying you. I will never take back what happened last night."

　　I sighed and blinked twice, "If there was one thing I wish I could change, that's probably my agreeing to divorce you. But it's too late now, right?"

　　The luxury of watching the mighty Johann sleep like a baby was a great view. It was so captivating that I didn't hear the phone ringing for a while now. 

　　In hope of getting the call, I didn't check whose phone it was, I hastily answered it, not knowing it was my husband's phone and not mine.
