CHAPTER 37 Do We Really Have to Divorce?

"She is our ray of hope. She's something that completes us. She is something that I am not. But because of my stupidity, I let her go, and I sent her away. "

  Johann's POV

In the living room where everyone gathered, my eyes were focused on my wife. She is Petersen's sunshine.

She made Grandpa happy, one thing that mattered to each and every one of us. Her bubbly personality, her vibrance, and her natural kindness were the main reasons why Grandpa liked him so much.

Even my mother who kept her distance from others learned how to fully accept her. And my father who didn't care about anyone but himself learned to be affectionate thanks to my wife.

And right now, just looking at her, I felt so embarrassed. I was the flesh and blood but I never once made my Grandpa laugh like that.

But to her, it was pretty basic. The way with her words, her sincere funny gestures, and her genuine concern livened up the old lake house.
