C1

Year 48th of the United Nations Of Earth Calendar.

At the fleet Academy inside Earth's starbase.

It was noon and Dracula wearing the Navy's standard issue all-black space uniform looked like a vampire with that white hair of his tied into a high bun with sides and back shaved clean, pale skin, and abnormally long and sharp canines sticking out from under his lips was taking a regular dose of his power nap on the lawn of an artificial forest with his hands behind his head.

Dracula is quite well-known in the Academy, specifically, he is famous for being the terror of the spaceship command and at the same time, infamous for being the number one problem student in the academies troublemaker list.

The reason he is called the terror of spaceship command is that the moment he appeared in the academy he started beating the shit out of every top dog until he became the undisputed overlord of the academy.

It wouldn't be so shocking if it took four years to do it but the psycho did it before his first year was over and at that time he was only 14!

Just think about it a 14-year-old beating the shit out of 18-year-olds! No sane person would believe it!

But if it were the only one of his accomplishments then he wouldn't be considered the terror of the academy the real reason is that at this point even the academy instructors can't beat him at all.

So based on normal logic, the once-in-a-lifetime genius Dracula should be the pride of the academy.

But he just sleeps all the time, moreover, he is always thinking of ways to find opportunities to sleep.

Such actions naturally give people a bad impression, leading them to believe that he had no motivation or interest, but every time the mock exam comes, this guy is always First!

That's why to correct his lazy character, the Dean of the Academy invited the current most promising UNOE Navys Captain Karl Newman who at the age of 30, already commands a squadron and is known as the most dazzling star in this new era.

The Dean's idea was to have Karl beat the shit out of Dracula and make him realize that he still has a lot to learn and shouldn't go around being lazy.

But in the end, the result was beyond everyone's expectations, Dracula beat the shit out of Karl to the point that he started doubting life itself!

One squadron of spaceships vs. one squadron of spaceships, and Dracula destroyed the opposing fleet at the cost of only one frigate.

Then the poor lad went back, he even had to receive three months of counseling before he got over such a thorough crushing.

This caused an uproar among the fleet's higher-ups to the point they started thinking that the dean was deliberately trying to humiliate them.

Ever since then, the Academy left Dracula alone, what else could they do?

After all, when it comes to spaceship command, no one in the entire academy, including the dean himself, is the opponent of this monster.

MC POV

After destroying the last enemy spaceship in the simulation I slowly opened my bloodred eyes.

[Ding]!

[Congratulations]!

[The host's Formation Command is now A]!

[Intelligence +0.01]!

As I read the holographic notifications floating in the air that only I could see I felt all of my brain's functions get upgraded.

"Status"

I muttered under my breath.

[Host: Dracula]

[Race: Human]

[Age:18]

[Strength:0.99/1 max]

[Perception:0.99/1 max]

[Endurance:0.99/1 max]

[Intelligence:1/1 max]

[Agility:0.99/1 max]

[Command Abilities: Artillery Command (A), Evasive Command (A), Formation Command (A), Space ship command(A), Strike craft Command (A), mech command (A)]

[Task 1: Graduate from the fleet academy and become commander of a warship, Reward: subspace drive Technology)]

[Task 2: Raise your rank to Captain, Reward: Gene Tailoring technology]

Finally, Formation Command has reached A, If I confront Karl again, well let's just say the guy would directly blast his brains out after I was done playing with him.

I thought evilly as I subconsciously licked my canines.

The truth is that Human beings are still in the early years of the Interstellar Age and their experience in Interstellar Warfare is too low, therefore, although Karl is well-known in the navy, he is still like a child in the eyes of higher-tier civilizations.

Take the opponents that I fight in the system every day, even the easiest ones are much better than Karl.

This is also why my abilities, which are only A will soon reach S if I keep on diligently taking my daily doses of power naps can be considered the highest level in the current UNOE fleet.

But the levels in the system on the other hand are much wider, there are S, SS, and SSS and there are even higher tiers.

To think it's already been more than ten years since I came to this world and ill graduate in a few days...

I thought as I gazed at the starry sky through the transparent semicircular cover of the artificial forests Dome.

That's right I'm not from an alternate reality where humanity united peacefully and stepped into an interstellar age like this one though it only looks on the surface that humanity is united as one.

The truth is that It's still a loose alliance of nations, but it's still better than my timeline where humanity destroyed itself in world war 3 and I unlike my seniors that mostly got isekaid by truck Kun in those novels used to read I got vaporized into atoms by nuke chan.

And like my seniors, I also got a system called the god of war system, which helps me master the abilities required by various interstellar fleet commanders.

Otherwise, without the system my only choice would be to become an army grunt again just like in my last life, and being a grunt is no fun at all, especially in an age where the enemy can perform an orbital bombardment until you're dead meat.

Without even sending in their ground troops and no kind of bunker will save you from ship-mounted mass accelerators and laser canons.

So in the eyes of others, I'm lazing around, when in actuality Im training like there's no tomorrow in the virtual reality of the system there I fight simulated fleets of Xeno races.

In the systems 100% virtual environment, it is no different from real war, the only exception is that I will not die IRL if I die in the simulations which apart from the pain and emotions I feel are the real deal.

"For God's sake Drac you're sleeping again? The Dean has been looking for you all over the place!"

Suddenly a voice that made my facial muscles start twitching subconsciously at just the sound of it sounded in my ears.

"Yeah, yeah Mom..."

I grumbled under my breath as set my eyes on Aurora Blake from the same major and year as me dressed in the same uniform as me that couldn't hide her hourglass-shaped body.

She had long blood-red hair tied into a ponytail and deep as ocean-blue eyes and was almost 2 meters tall just half a head shorter than me.

Aurora was born into a wealthy and influential family in Europe. She was always first no matter what she did so naturally she was an arrogant ice queen, well at least until she entered the fleet Academy and met me...

Well, actually she had the right to be arrogant because if I didn't have a system then she would be the most outstanding genius of the generation.

But alas in front of me who went through hell in my past life and survived till the end and received the golden finger a.k.a system she can only be second.

Seeing the pity in my eyes Aurora couldn't help but get angry.

This guy I really hate him if not for him I would be number one but at the same time I'm so curious about him because although he's clearly the same age as me it feels as if there's a monster slumbering inside him that comes out from time to time.

And it drives me mad because it's just not logical at all no matter how I think about it an 18-year-old shouldn't have a side like that.

Aurora thought as she looked back at Dracula as images of his dead-looking eyes void of any emotions then he loses it flashed before her eyes.

"So what does the dean want with me?"

"Beats me, but he said that if I find you, I should send you to his office."

"Well shit he better have a good reason"

I complained as I stood up and stretched my stiff body.
