Reincarnating in Naruto was less than an ideal condition. Being an orphan was a major setback. And not being able to use chakra, that was fatal.

I was not someone who could work restlessly like Guy and Lee, nor was I interested in putting my life at risk for making money. I could as well become a shopkeeper and become rich with all the knowledge of the modern world I had, but I was sure to die if a rock fell on me.

So I looked at the lonely blonde boy with whiskers, and then at myself being mocked by other little shits for not being able to use chakra. 

So I decided. Naruto needs a friend, and I need a savior. I will make my Naruto the strongest, and I will support him throughout his life in return of protecting me. 

I will corrupt him be not being able to live without me.

Team 7, 8, 9(Guy's team), 10, and Team Suna were the only ones who passed the first stage.

A total of 5 teams. 4 teams from Konoha, and one from Suna.

Hiruzen sighed and thought, 'I am too old for this.'

"Give them alternating scrolls, and place and extra scroll in the forest. We need atleast three teams to pass. And... place the extra scroll that will be required by Suna team not far from them."

Afterall, the final stage of the Chunin Exam is meant to be show for the outsiders to project Konoha's strength and their friendly attitude. Otherwise, he wouldn't have let the bloodthirsty Jinchuriki of Suna here.

If all teams end up being from Konoha, won't outsiders think that Konoha cheated?

The genins who were fooled by Naruto into boosting Ichiraku Ramen Plaza's sales have already started making a fuss.

He could only sigh in helplessness. Naruto with his insane chakra reserves, with Shadow Clones, can really be a menace.

Ibuki shouldn't have revealed the plants meant for cheat. Atleast they could have served in the second exam. But oh well. Ibiki isn't the Hokage. How would he be able to think about stuff like that?

And Hiruzen had given him full authority to conduct the first test as he pleased. He could have informed him of the changes he wanted to make, but Hiruzen also wanted to see how the test will go.

So he made the excuse in his mind that he didn't want to interfere.

Kabuto, after he had 'given up' the first stage of exam after 'fearing' that he wouldn't be able to participate again if he failed, he went to the meeting spot.

Due to Orochimaru and Danzo's cooperation, he could easily come and go from Konoha as he pleased. But since Danzo's death, he had been stuck in the village, and Orochimaru's explicit order was to remain a genin.

This time, he had to keep an eye on Karin, but she unexpectedly didn't participate.

As he came at the spot, Orochimaru came out of snake's mouth.

"Orochimaru-sama, it seems that the Jonin-sensei spy has betrayed us."

The Jonin-sensei who is a spy for Orochimaru would have known about it during the Chunin Exam recommendation. But he didn't provide the information.

Orochimaru smirked, and seemed thoughtful.

'Your spy got out of your control, Izumi-chan?'

"Well, we will proceed as planned. Sasuke is more important than Karin."

And during the Konoha Crush mission, he will let Izumi do as she pleases. As long as she is gone and this body completely becomes his, he doesn't care. And anyway...

'You wouldn't care if I actually take over Sasuke, will you?'

Orochimaru transformed into numerous snakes, and casually sneaked into the Forest of Death. The security is too lax for him.

This proves that the future prediction girl has actually lost her ability.

Studying her brainwaves will be the next thing on his table. It's sad that she isn't participating.

'Izumi-chan, have you cracked the barriers yet? Need my help?'

He chuckled to himself, and easily entered the forest. Curious to see how Itachi's brother has grown.

Sasuke is now at the same age as Itachi when he 'killed' Orochimaru.

But at that time, Orochimaru didn't have Sharingan.

"Alright. Since you all have signed your death waivers, go!"

Anko signalled the start of the second exam, and all teams from Konoha decided to jump Team Suna.
