Most women imagine Angelo Sorrentino as rich, handsome, and confident, except Emily Rosette.

"Yes, you can and you will," Lexi ordered her plainly. But then, Emily realized she had the power to grant such authorization. The entire time, Lexi kept her eye on Emily. She watched as Emily bent over, took the check from the floor, and examined it again. She then walked over to her new office table, and with shaking hands, she signed the check.

Once she turned, Lexi stood a few centimeters from her face and grabbed the check from Emily's hands. Lexi studied the check in her hand and smiled.

"Well, thank you. To clarify, the family is still upset that Angelo authorized you to run his company. "
