Most women imagine Angelo Sorrentino as rich, handsome, and confident, except Emily Rosette.

Emily soon learns that being known as "Mrs. Sorrentino" comes with both its perks and dangers. She is now tasked with protecting her fake husband, Angelo, at all costs from the people closest to him. The world of the rich is proving to be bigger than what Emily had thought it to be, proving once again that not all that glitters is gold.

In the eyes of the world, dinner between Emily, Angelo, and his family went off without a hitch, but beneath all the smiles on their faces was nothing more than hate.

Their forced conversation, "Cheers to a Happy Life Together", would have been in the books and might have earned each individual an Oscar for their performance. Pretending to be a happy family suited the Sorrentino siblings quite well.

"Honey, my brother and I need to have a talk, you can have a conversation with my sister," Angelo informed Emily. And with the spreading of her lips into a smile, Emily nodded her head and watched her husband disappear into the other room with his brothers.

"You witch!" Emily hurriedly turned her head, just in time to see Lexi slap her hand onto the dining room table. A move that would have startled Emily in the past no longer bothered her. So much so that she did not even flinch.
