"It took you long enough to wake up." Emily heard the voice of Tito as she sat up on her bed. Looking around the room, she could tell that she was indeed in a hospital room, and the smell of sterilized furniture made her sick to her stomach.
"What happened to me?" she asked in a faint voice.
"You collapsed; I caught you, and now you are here in our hospital room." Tito was very straightforward in his explanation. Emily tried looking around the room until she paused and realized that her son had been brought to the hospital for an operation.
"Do not worry, both Angelo and Giorgio are okay," Tito responded, as if he had read her mind before she had asked the crucial question.
"But how?" she asked, confused by all that had occurred around her.
"I told you I was going to get him a kidney, and I kept my promise, did I not?" Tito questioned her, but his response did not answer her question in its entirety.
"You did, but how is it possible?"
