ADMISSION INTO SKY HIGH SCHOOL Kenneth wayen's pov

"Ken, Ken " I could hear the voice faintly as I woke up, it was my mum calling me , she was seated at my bedside.

" morning mum" I greeted as she stood up looking at me in awe. Don't you know, you're supposed to wake up early since you'll be attending a new school farther than your former High school" mum complained.

"okay I've heard you mom, you know I went to bed late last night" I tried to escape from mum's nagging. "you've got to be fast, so that your dad can drop you off at school before going to the office"she advised. "okay mum " i said heading to the bathroom.

" what a naughty boy" she said as she slammed the door hard .

"whatever" I giggled in the bathroom. I freshened up, brushed my teeth and got prepared for school 🏫, I could hear mum's voice calling me downstairs to hurry up, I took my backpack as I went downstairs to the dining room.

"I'm here mum" I said I should was about to call out my name.

she serve breakfast, I quickly ate dad came out of the room heading towards us.

"morning dad" I greeted. "hey my boy, how was your night 🌃 he asked, "fyn as always dad"I replied, I watched as Mum and Dad to put his tie in order. since dad has been late he ordered Mum to pack is breakfast to eat at lunch hour in his office "whatever" mum replied. I helped dad to pick up a suitcase as we walked out of the 🏢 building.

KIRA CALIX'S POV

"Good morning Mum" I greeted my mum still on the bed, though it's kind of a normal for me cause I'm used to it . I'll have to wake up early to prepare for school and also prepare breakfast for the family because Mum and Dad are always busy for work and they don't have time for their children. " Good morning my daughter" she replied me. "where is dad ? I asked, "baby I forgot to tell you he slept at work yesterday" she replied "oh I see" answered her "well I'm off to school, I prepared breakfast and also dressed and prepared Kathy for school" I said with a serious face oh "what's time what's the time now ? she asked "7:23" I said after checking my wrist watch "my God time has gone I have to prepare for work" she paused for a second then rushed into the bathroom "darling I think you girls should get going, take the money inside my 👛 purse" she called out from the bathroom.

"how much should I take"I asked that because there were a lot of money in her purse. "take 2,000 naira, give your sister 500 naira" she said. "okay thank you Mum, love you and see you at night I said as I walked out of her room. "no problem baby my regards to your sister ".

we got out of the house and entered the car then our driver drove us to school. Kathy's school was right beside mine so I dropped her at school first and handed 500 naira to a teacher for snacks then headed to my school.

Kenneth pov

I walked into the school compound, I could hear the sound of jingling of bells, I was in a rush..... all of a sudden a lady or can I say a damsel bumped into me.

"Are you blind?" she asked me, i smiled, she bumped into me and she asked me the silly question, I uttered no word, I bent down to pick the books on the floor, she looked at me strangely, i smirked as I handed the books to her.

I turned to leave as I walk towards the registration office, I could sense she was still staring at me, I guess she was stunned with my reaction.

I met another set of girls murmuring and whispering silently at the assembly group, one of the girls walked up to me "hi" she said I looked at her with despair "I'm Jeanne" she said smiling "yeah, what a nice name, can you please help me to the registration office?? I asked politely "yeah I can help you with a lot of things handsome" she took my hand as we walked to the registration office first I was embarrassed but luckily, no teacher saw us

"thank you" I said with a bow and I entered the registration office there I found a woman sitting at the edge of a table. "morning ma" I greeted politely. she wore glasses and she took a closer look at me. "oh u're the transfer student am I right" she asked. "yes ma" I answered

"have your seat" she gave me different forms to fill then she took me to the class.

Kira calix pov

"what was that, he couldn't even say sorry" I said try not to get angry I entered the class and sat down when my friend Iris worked in pointing.

I was about to greet her when she interrupted me "there is a problem babe , you won't believe what I saw.

hmmmmmmm, Kira I just saw Brian and lexar making out in the restroom" "what the hell" I screamed getting the attention of some students in the classroom.

I followed my friend to the restroom only to find my best friend and my boyfriend having s*x. I turned around and went to the library where I could cry in peace.

" Iris what have I done to deserve this why should I have to go through this torment.

" it's okay girl,I know you didn't want to do this at first but Brianne forced you to do it in and she later betrayed you just forget about it"

*******some minutes later*******

"Kira baby I've been looking for you everywhere, what's wrong babe did you cry, what happened?????

Brianne asked

"I've also been looking for you where have you been" I asked as I stared at her

"I was with Miss Priscilla our English teacher I was helping out with some..... "oh shut it Brianna how could you do this to me and yet you call me a pretending like you care you are such a s*** I hate you you are so fake" I took my books and went back to class "hey watch where you're going" I said as I bumped into something hard that's when I realised it was the guy from before.

Kenneth's pov

"this girl again"I thought with my I looked at her and saw a puffy eyes

"what's wrong" I asked staring at her teary eyes.

she didn't respond she was about leaving when I drew her back towards me now I'm holding her by the waist. there was silence for about 5 seconds before I finally broke the silence "I'm sorry I didn't mean to do that" I said with a fearful look but she freed herself from my grip and stormed into the class, I also followed her. the class was filled with noise and mumuring about the earlier event and I was kind of embarrassed. I shouldn't have done that what was wrong with me. I sat down in my seat which was beside hers. I kept thinking about how her face was so close to mine the other time, our lips almost touched. wake up from your dream man "hey you stay away from my girlfriend. huh???

she had a boyfriend I didn't know

Babe are u okay the guy faced her and with that a loud slap sounded in the class

"how dare u filthy thing call me babe u think I didn't see you and Brian making out the other time

and with this she stood up

"hey everyone u see lexar here my called boyfriend was seen making out with my best friend and he dares come here pretending not to know anything, you must still think I'm a fool right well ure wrong, we're over" everyone in the class started mumumring louder and Lexa walked out of the class.

later on Lexa was sent to detention for bullying and disobeying a teacher in class.

I took my book to read and I saw it wasn't mine

the name was written boldly "Kira calix" that name sounded familiar I wanted to returned her book to her but she was not in class.

I found that sitting adjacent the library table I work towards her "hi" said stylishly she didn't respond so I continue talking, this is yours mine is with you I said to her she raised up head in awe, I handed over the book her she looked at the book "it's torn" she voiced out "its not me" I said the defensively "you bump into me so you have to fix it" she said with a smirk on her face "I mean it" she added.
