Part XI

I asked King to find out what is going on near the orphanage and who are bullying the children through his reliable sources, turned out that recently a gang made of street children was formed, they are involved in petty crimes which range from shoplifting to serious ones like pickpocketing. Their hideout is near the orphanage and they often bully orphanage, children, because there is no one to scold them. I wanted to go alone to teach those bastards a good lesson but my siblings insisted to tag along, Brother Leo and King were fine, but even Angela was stubborn to come with us, we tried to change her decision, but she looked determined. Upon reaching the orphanage, all the children surrounded us, they had tears in their eyes and some looked beaten up, the teacher seemed busy calling the nearby police station.

Me: Where are they? (I gave out a murderous aura as the veins near my forehead protruded)

Kid: (starts crying) T-They t-took Daichi to back alley…c-cause he protested. (he points toward the back alley)

Daichi's cries could be heard as we advanced towards the back alley, there were some 4-5 boys around the age range of 6-10 surrounding Daichi, and we couldn't make out what was exactly going on or what was Daichi's current state, without thinking twice King appeared behind them, hitting the tallest boy on the back of his head hard with his hockey stick, Leo, Angela and Me stared at each other's faces blankly, confused by the sudden change of events, I felt like screaming at King 'what happened to make plans you blockhead?!!', the boy laid on the ground unconscious while blood came out of his head, the other boys shivered looking at King who had a scary facial expression, ready to murder anyone who would dare to challenge him.

Daichi: Sis? (Daichi peeked from the crowd of boys)

Contrary to what we imagined, Daichi didn't have any injuries, rather he was dressed like a girl and was looking too cute! Daichi ran towards me and hugged my legs and pointed at the gang members pouting.

Daichi: they made me dance after making me wear girls' clothes, they said I look cute like a girl! Am a boy!! Not a girl!!! (He starts crying while hugging me)

Angela and Leo covered their lips and tried not to laugh while I bite my lower lip to control my emotions. He was indeed looking too cute and I wanted to see him dance in a dress, 'Kawaii!!' I thought to myself while patting his head.

Me: Yes Yes Daichi, you are a boy, not a girl. Our Daichi is handsome not cute like a girl, Happy? (Said while choking from suppressed laughter)

Daichi : (he cries more) Anne sis, you are also making fun of me!!

Me: (picking him up in my arms, I wiped his tears and kissed his cheek smiling warmly while checking for any injuries just in case) Did they hurt you? (Asked while glaring at them)

Daichi: No….they just said that I look pretty….and made me dress up (he said while rubbing his eyes sleepily)

Giving Daichi to Leo bro, I asked him to take Daichi back to the orphanage, he nods and follows my order, I cracked my knuckles while standing beside King and smacked his back hard as he winced in pain.

King: Ouch!! (He makes a puppy face) what did I do?

Me: (I sighed) Stop being reckless and call for an ambulance, or else we would be in the delinquent center for murder charges.

King: (puts his hands up in the air in a joking manner) As you wish, your highness. (he bows before calling for an ambulance)

Me: (I looked at the shivering boys who were staring at their friend's unconscious body) He would be fine, don't worry, the ambulance is coming. (I said calmly and coldly) So now….(I stood in front of them, glaring) Care to explain why you people are bullying those innocent children?

They looked at each other while hesitating then one of them finally stepped forward while trembling with fear. Others tried to stop him from speaking but he ignored them, gathering some courage he stared at my face before speaking.

Jiro: M…My name is Jiro (He rubbed his left arm using his right hand while gulping his spit, his eyes fell on the hockey stick and the unconscious boy before his focus returned towards me) We all present here are orphans who used to live in the streets since we were born. (He says while introducing the other boys standing behind him, now that I noticed, all of them looked malnourished and in poor condition) We were happy….we never did anything bad….but one day a few people approached us, and captured us, dragging us to their boss, since then we have been forced to work under him with our basic necessities being fulfilled, he orders us to steal and bully, while he stays away from all these messes, we don't want to do bad things (he starts crying as the other boys hugged him and cried as well)

Me: (rolled my eyes) This won't reduce your sins, and if you get caught by the police, it would end worse for you. (I said frowning)

Jiro: P-Please help us….we don't want to end up in jail, we promise we won't bully anyone ever….w-we didn't do it willingly…i-if we go against him, he beats us and doesn't give us food…he even killed one of our friends by beating him badly….(he continues crying while begging us for mercy along with his friends)

Me: Only if you give testimony against him, we will think about helping you, also we need accurate details about the hideout's location and the number of people who are there except for your boss. If found that you are lying, you will end up as your friend. (I said while pointing at the unconscious body)

Jiro nods and starts telling us about the location of the hideout, he said that beside them, currently there are 5 people besides their boss, by the time he completed giving full details, the ambulance have already arrived, Leo returned from the orphanage after handing over Daichi to the teacher and informed us that the teacher has already filed a complaint at the police station and they are on their way to investigate.

Me: Should we help the police or leave the matter as it is? (I said while facing my siblings) I do want to take revenge on them for hurting the children but at the same time, I don't want to interfere in the investigation.

Leo: We should leave now, if anything happens, our father will learn about it, then we would be in trouble. (He says worried)

King: (smirks) pussy cat. (He laughs)

Leo makes a fist to punch King as I interfered while glaring at them to stop making a scene in front of strangers.

Angela: (she felt left out as she tries to poke in) Uhm….well I feel, Brother Leo is right…

King: (rolls eyes) Of course you will think he is right.

Me: Enough! (I tilt my head looking at Jiro) Say, what do you want us to do? Do you want revenge? (My face grew dark with a murderous aura surrounding me as I looked into his eyes as a devil staring at someone's soul) What is your desire?....do you desire revenge or do you want them to walk all over you again and again? (I stood in front of them, keeping constant eye contact as I grabbed Jiro by his cheeks and forced him to look into my eyes) Do you dare to form a deal with the devil? (I smirked then gave out psychotic laughter)

Jiro: (he trembled looking into my eyes as he gulped his spit) Y-Yes….I do…..I…..we….we want revenge….help us get rid of those bastards….

Me: (I leave his cheek smiling) Very well….lead the way.
