After that conversation, Suga remained stubborn in rejecting the idea of enrolling in a culinary class. He also told his father that coding was just a hobby and that he had no intention of working in a field that focused on that skill. Suga wasn't someone who enjoyed physical exhaustion—if possible, he wanted a job where he could just relax in his room. But of course, that was impossible unless he became a crypto trader scammer or something.

They never talked about it again. The only thing his father repeatedly reminded him was to live like a normal Japanese teenager and not to be too curious about what he did for work. Of course, Suga was curious—why his father frequently traveled abroad despite claiming to be just an office worker, and why both his parents seemed to be in perfect agreement about keeping that information from him.
