It sounded almost absurd, even ironic— but while staying here, Suga couldn't help thinking how this place wasn't all that different from living in Zion's house. Well, aside from the obvious fact that he'd take Zion's place over this one any day.

Lately, though, with how easily his body wore out, he had nearly given up the search for the forest. Everything felt off. He couldn't stomach meat, not even chicken, which had always been his comfort food. These days, only fish, shrimp, and bread seemed to sit well in his gut.

Part of him wanted to blame the meat here, to accuse it of being low quality or badly handled. The smell alone was enough to make him gag. But Ashley insisted it was just in his head. He said there was nothing wrong with the food, he didn't smell anything strange, and the other omegas devoured their meals without complaint. Maybe Ashley was right. His argument was hard to refute after all.
