As Suga stared at the book he was reading, a plot he'd already read countless times, about a man solving murder mysteries where, in every single episode, someone conveniently ended up dead near him, it almost felt like the protagonist was cursed, bringing misfortune to the 'victims' just by existing near them. That thought struck Suga as absurd, and he let out an ironic laugh.

However, for some reason, uninvited and loud, Yuki's voice popped into his head, saying 'Suga you are a madman magnet.' And just like that, Suga's laughter died on his lips in an instant.

Every time he thought about Yuki, Suga couldn't help but imagine the worst-case scenarios happening to him. And whenever those thoughts crept in, he would push them far, far away and try to calm himself by remembering how strong Yuki was— that there was no way his childhood friend would die so easily.
