Chapter Twenty One

We did not go to the beach like I was expecting. Instead we drove deeper and deeper into the island. There is seven of us so we decided to take two cars. We took Cameron and Jared's cars. I jumped into Jared's car along with Jessica and Emily.

Tanya, Chidi and Cameron are all in the other car.

I choose to go with Jared because first of all the queen bitch insisted on being with Cameron and I can't handle being stuck in a car with her for who knows how long. I will end up killing myself.. or her.

I am actually happy with my decision because we are all singing along to 'Thrift shop'

Emily is in the front seat and Jessica and I are in the back singing very loudly and off key. I didn't realize hanging out with them would be this fun. I guess I had judged them without really knowing them. When the song ends we are all breathless from laughing and singing so loudly. I look out the car window and I see that we are driving deeper into the forest.

I have never drove this far into the island and I have to say the sight of it is breathtakingly beautiful. It's so green and the clear sky's give it such a magical feel. If it wasn't for the well paved road I'd easily believe that we are somewhere no civilisation has gone. It's so quiet and peaceful.

"Are we there yet?"

I ask bouncing up and down in my seat. We have been driving for a while now and I'm getting impatient. Jared laughs and looks at me through the review mirror.

"Yeah we almost there."

He says with a huge grin on his face.

I don't know if I have mentioned this but Jared is really good looking.

He has that boy next door charm to him. The type that would charm your panties off if you are not careful.

"That's what you said last time."

I pout.

"You are gonna love this place Ria. It's like nothing you have ever seen before."

Emily says while playing with the radio. Probably looking for another song.

"Where is this place anyway?"

I ask curiously.

"Oh it's just this little spring we found one day in the forest when Cam, Jared and I were still first years."

Jessica answers me.

Jessica, Cameron, Jared and Kai are all doing their third year. The others are all in my year.

Speaking of which.

"Where is Kai?"

I ask.

"Oh. Something went wrong with one of his companies in Denmark he flew there yesterday."

Emily answers.

"Eeek! Yah! My song Madafakas!"

Emily suddenly screams when Rihana's 'bitch better have my money' start blasting through the speakers.

"This song sucks."

Jared says while turning the volume down.

"Does not!"

She says while smacking his hand away from the buttons.

"Yes it does."

Jared says but he leaves the song.

Emily just sticks her tongue at him as a response. Jessica and I laugh at their exchange as we all start singing along to the song. I have just realized that Jared and Emily would make a really cute couple. As vain as they both are, maybe they might cancel each other out and become decent human beings. Fifteen minutes and four songs later we arrived at our destination and they were right the place is spectacular.

When we got out of the car my nostrils are immediately hit with the smell of fresh clean air.

The sound of water flowing and birds chirping fills my ears. I can't take my eyes away from the beautiful crystal clear water surrounded by lush green forestry. Saying this place is beautiful would be an understatement.

"So what do you think?"

Jessica suddenly appears next to me.

"I think I have found heaven."

I sigh.

Jessica and Emily both giggle at my answer.

"Yeah it totally is."

Emily says.

I notice that Jared starts taking of his shirt and shoes just as Cameron's car arrives. Our car was in front of theirs.

After Jared is done taking his clothes off leaving him in his swim trunks he suddenly takes off running towards the water. We all laugh at him when he gets in and starts complaining about how could the water is. Soon Emily and Jessica join him.

Cameron, Chidi and I take out the picnic baskets and towels out of the car and spread them on the sand.

Of course the queen bitch does nothing to help us.

After we are done Chidi lies on a towel and takes out a book and starts reading. The Queen bitch lies down next to him and put on earphones.

Leaving Cameron's attention fixed on me.

"So aren't you going to swim?"

He says with his hands in his pockets. He is still shirtless might I add.

"I am." I tell him.

"What are you waiting for then?"

He asks gesturing at my clothes.

"What? You expect me to undress while you are staring at me like a perve? "

I say while crossing my arms across my chest. Okay technically I won't be undressing. I just need to take off my hoodie and yoga pants since I am already wearing the borrowed swim suit underneath my clothes.

It is totally not my taste, It's too... revealing. Cameron raises his eyebrows at me.

"It's not rocket science. Look I will show you how it's done."

He says them he strips out of his shorts. Oh my God.

He is standing in front of me in nothing but his briefs. Briefs that leave very little to the imagination.

I can't stop myself from checking him out.

"Okay now it's your turn."

He says and throws me a flirtation smile. What the hell did I get myself into? I roll my eyes to down play the turmoil of emotions running through me. Slowly I take of my hoodie and then my pants.

I only look at him when I'm done.

He is staring at me with dark eyes that are hiding the depth of his emotions. The bikini is practically just small pieces of fabric with strings on it. I feel so self conscious.

"Stop checking me out you pervert."

I smile while hitting his arm lightly as an attempt to lighten the mood before it gets awkward. He laugh at me.

"Last one to the water is a rotten egg!"

Just like that we are running full speed towards the water. The sound of our laughter fills the silent forest.
