The First Archdragon Mate

Alec transformed into his dragon form and took off from Mount Inferno. As he flew among the clouds, with the wind caressing his huge wings and feeling the cold air on his face; his mind kept wondering back to Nuri and how she was doing; all that kept him going was the thought of finishing this off and getting back to his mate, the love of his life! I arrived at my old village in the fire domain, by walking or horseback, it was at least a day’s trip; with flying, it took him about half an hour. He landed in a clearing just on the outskirts of the village and changed back into human form, he ran his fingers through his hair, letting out a heavy sigh. This was going to be a long and grueling day.
