preparing for the counter attack——- the first time

Gong Shuang did not wish to be this harsh with Xua Ying Yue either, she knew that the latter was not at fault in her head but how was she supposed to tell this to her heart? She was a young girl with dreams but in just one night she was dragged to an unknown place and was —-

" It was supposed to be you, that man, he kept calling your name!" She screamed at Xua Ying Yue before picking up the jar of water from her table and throwing it at Xua Ying Yue.

Three hours ago, Gong Shuang felt as if her heart was going to jump out of her chest, first she was kidnapped and then she was taken to the hotel where she heard the three men who were discussing how to deal with her. They kept calling her,' the girl' which was why she did not understand what was happening around her but then just as they were taking her to the third floor they met with another man.

She could not even see his face but when she heard his voice and the way he talked, she knew that he was not there to help her. And when she heard him call her Xua Ying Yue, she knew that the kidnappers took the wrong girl with them but her mouth was covered with tape and she could not tell them that she was not Xua Ying Yue.

The man who spoke with the three men dragged her to the room forcefully, where she was forced against her will. She kept saying that she was not Xua Ying Yue as soon as the tape was taken off her mouth but no matter what she said or did, the man did not listen, he was simply too drunk to even know his name much less decipher that she was not the woman whom he was looking for.

Gong Shuang has never been treated like this before, she was the only child of her parents and they treated her truly well which was why she has been raised in a protective family but tonight—— a sob escaped her lips as she covered her face and cried, " Get out, don't look at me! I don't want you to look at me!"

Xua Ying Yue wanted to say something but Gong Shuang was too agitated at the moment which was why she decided to stay silent and call a doctor for the latter. She will talk with Gong Shuang in the morning and tell her that everything will be fine since she was going to take the identity of the girl who was taken to the Hotel Couloir. From the beginning to the end, Xua Ying Yue did not want the girl to be shamed by the others but if Gong Shuang wanted to fight for justice then she will stand next to her side till the end.

"I understand," Xua Ying Yue said as she walked out of the ward and went to call a doctor to check up on Gong Shuang. As she walked out and returned to the waiting area she saw her sister coming out of the reception where she finished the payment for Gong Shuang's treatment.

Her gaze dropped to the red imprints of fingers on Xua Ying Yue's cheek and felt her heartache. Her sister was not in the wrong but she was the one who had to suffer the most, why was it? Why did her sister have to be the one who has to suffer when she was not even in the wrong?

" Come with me, I will apply some ice on it," she did not ask what happened to Xua Ying Yue since she already knew but to her surprise, Xua Ying Yue refused to apply ice on the slap imprint and then requested sincerely, " Sister Yenay, can you bring me, my laptop? There is something that I need to do."

Xua Ying Yue knew that Lu Biya was going to make her move as soon as the exams get over which was why she has to take precautions of her own to make sure that she will be able to protect Gong Shuang's identity along with what happened to her from the world at the minimum amount of loss, she could see that Gong Shuang's heart was rather fragile and she will not be able to withstand seeing her pictures plastered all over the Internet even if her face was not showing.

Her request took Xua Yenay by surprise but she still agreed on the term that Xua Ying Yue will apply some ice on her cheek to reduce the swelling something to which Xua Ying Yue agreed.

It did not take long for Xua Yenay to return with the laptop and once she returned Xua Ying Yue asked her to leave the hospital. Her sister obviously refused saying that she will not leave her alone but Xua Ying Yue countered her by saying that if she stayed it will only make people talk behind them in the neighbourhood which was why Xua Yenay had to go to the house.

However, that was only half the truth, the reason why Xua Ying Yue sent her sister away was that she wanted to recover the picture that has been cropped and sent to her. Since they wanted to threaten her, she will have to drag Lu Cheng down with her, only then will she be able to stay on the same foothill as them.

Xua Ying Yue copied the set of instructions that were written on the Internet before she started re-typing them according to the book instructions, creating her own code that was able to hack into the phone of the three men who sent these pictures to her at the orders of Lu Biya.

Once she was on their phones, she logged into their clouds and downloaded all the images that had Lu Cheng's face. The men were smart enough not to click Gong Shuang's face since they knew that the girl they captured was the wrong one and even sent her to the bed of the Lu family's young master.

They were afraid to get caught which was why they deleted everything from the gallery but they did not delete it from the cloud making it easier for Xua Ying Yue to hack the complete image.

Just as she saved these images on her phone and cropped Gong Shuang out of some pictures, she heard someone shout outside the waiting area.

" The patient from room number one zero three has run away!"

" Patient from one zero three? " Xua Ying Yue's eyes widened when she realised that it was none other than Gong Shuang!
