What do you think?

Xiao Huang raised his head with the last bit of his strength and looked at the young girl. He squinted his eyes such that he could take a good look at the face of the teenage girl in front of him. The girl was dressed up in clothes that were even cheaper than his own, with a black shirt and baggy pants that were two sizes too big for her, Xua Ying Yue looked like a homeless young girl.

Seeing her clothes that had holes and patches on them, Xiao Huang sighed. To think he was foolish enough to hope that someone rich came to help him with his predicament.

" Little girl, let me be honest with you. This is not a place for someone like you," Xiao Huang told Xua Ying Yue as he tried to push himself off the ground. " Your family might be waiting for you to return home. You should go back home before it gets too late." As he spoke he shot a fierce look at the girl hoping that she would turn around and leave.

Even though he was not a good man, he did not hurt innocent girls but that couldn't be said for the rest of the residents of this alley. If they find a girl as good-looking as the one in front of them, they will surely try to harm her.

Just a few days ago he heard from the neighbourhood aunty that a human trafficker moved close to their residence area, it would be troublesome if this girl caught the attention of that human trafficker.

Xua Ying Yue on the other hand was considerably calm, she could sense that even though Xiao Huang was not a good man. He was not a serial criminal but that worked just fine for her. She blinked her eyes and then without avoiding eye contact said, " Mister Xiao, would you believe me if I say that I can turn your life around?"

She said those words with such a serious expression that Xiao Huang felt moved for a few seconds but then his gaze fell on the clothes that Xua Ying Yue was wearing and he rolled his eyes before saying, " Don't make fun of me little girl. I might be in trouble but I still don't need to depend on a little girl——"

He was still speaking when Xua Ying Yue took out a hundred yuan bill from her pockets and waved it in front of Xiao Huang, whose gaze was immediately locked on the hundred yuan bill. He raised his head and looked at Xua Ying Yue with a glimpse of hope in his eyes as he asked with a lick of his lips, " What do you want from me?"

Xua Ying Yue replied calmly, " Nothing much. I just want you to work for me without asking any questions. As long as you help me out, I will hand you a hundred yuan every week."

" This work is illegal?" Xiao Huang stated with his eyes squinting at the young lady in front of him. She remained calm and quiet but the determination in her eyes showed that she was not playing around with him. She had a sense of tranquillity within her eyes that he found in the eyes of those who knew what they wanted in their lives.

" Yes.  I wouldn't have looked for you if the work was legal would I?" She responded with a composed voice, Xua Ying Yue's voice did not have any fluctuations within it and Xiao Huang could see that she was not trying to force him into doing anything against his will.

Xiao Huang was hesitant. He was wondering if he should listen to a young girl who did not even see the world yet, what if she caused him to be caught in trouble from which he could never escape? He was just a small pocket snatcher and nothing more than that.

Xua Ying Yue noticed his hesitation, she then smiled at him calmly and said, " If you agree to work for me then you wouldn't have to worry about your rent and meals for the time being. I can even bring you to a place where you can earn a decent sum of money."

She tilted her head and then continued speaking, " You might not want to believe me but you have no other choice. With your condition even earning a hundred yuan is a big deal, isn't it?"

Her words hit the nail on the head. Xiao Huang indeed needed money and with no education and connections, he could hardly earn ten yuan. He had no land in the countryside and had no family, with no one to look after him it was already good enough that he was able to survive till now.

But he still couldn't understand the fact that he would have to work for an underage girl. Xiao Huang raised his head and looked at Xua Ying Yue who still had a trace of innocence in her eyes and coldly sneered, " How old are you, little girl? Fifteen? Sixteen? Are you sure that you want to work with a thug?"

Xua Ying Yue realized that the man was looking down on her. She slowly stood up and then unsheathed her umbrella before calmly placing the tip of the metal against Xiao Huang's shoulder. The latter did not seem to understand what was going on but a second later when he suddenly felt a jolt of electric current snap through his skin, Xiao Huang understood what was going on as he collapsed on the ground.

" You…"

With her delicate brows raised, Xua Ying Yue looked down at Xiao Huang with a sense of authority. He then heard her say, " I might be young but I have more than one way to deal with the likes of you. Be glad that I am giving you a chance to turn your situation around, if you don't appreciate it then I don't want to waste my time either. I bet there will be others who would appreciate this opportunity."

She then quirked a side of her lips and asked, " So what do you have to say?"
