As soon as Endrick pushed the door open, the first thing that his dad did was to raise his head and look at the virtual clock.

Endrick was surprised on seeing his full family gathered in the sitting room.

He looked at Maria. "You didn't go to school?"

She looked back at him like he was a fool. "Today is public holiday".

"Even if it was not, do you know what the time is? My school closes at around 4:00pm, what makes you think I will be in school by now?"

"Oh!" Endrick only exclaimed and was about to climb upstairs to his room when his mom finally spoke in a displeased tone.

"You're so big you can't even greet your parents now!"

"I'm sorry mom, I had a lot of things on my mind". Endrick rubbed his head.

"You sure do". His mom was still displeased.

"Good evening Mom". Endrick finally started walking to his room but he paused as his sister dashed right in front of him.
