Dilemma

"Does it matter?"

Kevin asked.

"It might be helpful to know how she died."

Max replied casually.

"I don't care how. All I want to know is who were they?"

Kevin  said with fire of revenge burning in his eyes.

"One thing might lead to the other, Kevin."

Max said calmly.

"So you think I did the wrong thing. Jesus, I couldn't really just call the cops, hand them a sack full of cut pieces of meat and say, 'This is my wife, take good care of her.' now could I ?"

Kevin said sarcastically.

"I understand. You did what you had to do . I don't know a lot about right and wrong but I probably would have done the same thing."

Max consoled Kevin.

Afterwards Max asked many other questions, and he asked most of them more than once. Max took them both back and forth over their story, and wrote down a lot of notes in his notebook.
