The name she saw on the caller's ID made her blood boil even more. 'Sweetheart❤❤💗'

Du Lixin glanced at the phone and immediately took it with a bright smile.

Min Ah looked at him in anger, he could even chuckle when he talks to her but just look at the way he is smiling when it comes to that slut.

"Sweetheart?" Du Lixin said softly.

"Du Lixin.." Xiao Li softly said.

"Sweetheart what is it?, did something happen?" Du Lixin was already worried.

"No nothing happened I just wanted to talk to you."

"Okay seems like someone misses me." Du Lixin said with a smirk.

Min Ah could feel her blood boil at the highest level, she decided to say something hoping that Xiao Li would hear her voice and think Du Lixin was cheating on her.

"Well you can say so." Xiao Li said biting her lips.

"I'll come over right now if you want." Du Lixin said teasingly.

"No no go to work i..." Before Xiao Li could complete her statement, Min Ah said from other line.

"Du Lixin ain't we going there now, who is that?"

Xiao Li felt her heart skipped when she heard a female's voice. "Du Lixin who is that?"

"It's my childhood friend who came to China today, I went to meet her at my mom's house and we are going to the company since she said she wanted to see how it is now and her car broke down." Du Lixin explained calmly.

Min Ah hated the fact that he had to explain like she was a queen or something, why can't she be the one Du Lixin talks to like this.

"Okay tell her I said hi." Xiao Li breathed a sigh of relief.

"If you want I could stop a taxi for her." Du Lixin said hoping she doesn't get jealous.

"No she's a friend and you can't do that to her, take her to the company, I'll meet you there." Xiao Li said.

"Okay I'll ask Uncle Su to pick you up right now, I'll hang up for now." Du Lixin said and hung up.

"So if she had asked you to drop me, you would have done that without hesitation?" Min Ah asked as her heart broke with his answer.

"Yes." He said bluntly.

Min Ah twisted her fist as she held back tears, Du Lixin was too focused on the road to care about who was with him.

In The Dormitory

Cheng Hua looked at Xiao Li as she dropped the call. "Seems like you are about to have a love rival."

"Well I'll see who she is." Xiao Li said looking straight forward.

"Just look at the way she brought her voice in, she couldn't ask Du Lixin after the call." Cheng Hua said with twisted lips.

"She wanted me to hear her voice and think something else but I don't just loose faith in my husband." Xiao Li said and picked her back then got up.

"Yeah that's the wife material I'm talking about, go make her feel below." Cheng Hua said with a smile.
