"Hmm" Blair mused inwardly, her eyes scanning the tall man in front of her as she sat on the bed. The maids were by the corner, they were also inspecting him.
With a glance that Zephyr gave them, he realized that they were smitten. He wondered what was happening in their brains when they looked at him, something scandalous has to be cooking up there, especially the princess's head. He thought as he directed his gray eyes to her.
"I love your look" she admitted in all honesty.
Zephyr wore an official masculine outfit, the burgundy color contrasted with his pale skin, giving him a nice shine. His dark long hair was braided by the sides, and the remnants were left to fall over his back. His muscular chest was peeking out from the shirt he was wearing, and coming to his face. He was ethereal, his lips almost had a striking resemblance to the color of his cloth. His gray eyes, staring down at her made her feel so hot.
Blair wasn't telling a lie when she said this man was tantalizing. He looked so good that she wanted to feast on him, but she had to think of her reputation as a princess.
What would happen if words got out that she was seducing her bodyguard? The kingdom would be torn down with rumors and her father would be very disappointed in her.
Sebastian too, since he was her betrothed.
"Ehem..." Helen cleared her throat as she made herself visible before the princess.
"What is it?" Blair asked, almost hurriedly. She didn't want to stop looking at the man before her.
"Lord Sebastian is here" Helen relayed to her. She took the princess' reaction, Blair was not enthusiastic as before whenever she heard of Sebastian's presence.
If it was before, she would have jumped out of bed, rushed to the mirror, and checked her hair, then she would dash outside to meet him.
But now, she was deeply rooted to her bed, in a haze.
"Your highness?" Helen called out and the princess jolted.
She chuckled nervously, "Ah... Right," She muttered and went towards the direction of the door.
Helen was stunned, she called out to her princess again, "Your highness... What about your hair and makeup, should we fix it?" She asked.
However, the princess's response caused her to remain silent, "There's no need" she said dismissively.
The princess exited her room, likewise her maids. Zephyr was the only one standing in her room, looking lost. He wondered what he was supposed to do now that everyone was out of his sight, should he try to run away? He wondered about it by looking out the window.
He shook his head, he wasn't going to try that window out again. The electricity that jolted through his nerves when the net appeared wasn't something he would like to joke with.
Then what was he supposed to do? He pondered.
Just then someone opened the door. He gazed at the person that was about to emerge then he saw that it was one of the maids. She should be Helen, perhaps she was here to fetch him.
"Hello, Mr bodyguard, your work starts today" She started with a smile, in case he wasn't aware.
"You should start your duty of protecting the princess!"
Helen stared at him, wanting to get a response from him but he didn't reply. His expression didn't waver at all. She wondered what made him look lost every time, what was he always thinking in his head?
Not getting anything from him, she walked ahead of him to see if he would follow suit. Shortly, an invisible smirk curved on her lips when she figured out that his legs were sounding behind her, which meant that he was coming along with them.
So much for Mr statue.
Sigh...

At the pavilion, stood a tall man, he was dressed in a dark jacket, pants, and white shirt. His hands were holding the rails as he looked down at the river beneath the pavilion. Mostly the lotus flower that was shining brightly in them. His dark green hair flowed in the wind and a bright smile appeared on his lips as he studied the flowers.
"Seb" He heard his nickname coming from a gentle voice, he knew who it was.
Turning around, his hazel eyes met with Blair's green ones. They stood at a distance gazing at each other. Sebastian was expecting Blair to come rushing to meet him since it was quite a long since she saw him last but she didn't run towards him like before and he wondered why.
"It's good to see you again, Blair" Her name rolled off his tongue like honey. He saw her hesitate to take a step towards him, a slight frown almost formed on his forehead but he displaced it with a smile.
He walked in her direction, his hair short hair scattering all over his face due to the wind. His eyes never left her eyes. Then he came to stand in front of her, "Is anything the problem?" he asked softly.
"You don't seem happy to see me?" Blair caught the whiff of sadness in his tone and she quickly shook her strange feelings off. What was wrong with her? Why wasn't she welcoming him like she usually does?
"I am happy to see you again Seb, it's been quite a long time" She suddenly smiled brightly and seb heaved a sigh of relief.
His hands went to lift her delicate hand in his, he brought them to his lips and gave it a soft kiss. "I'm also happy to see you, let's have something, shall we?" He questioned with a smile.
"Sure" she affirmed, her cheeks turning red.
"Guess what I brought this time?" He inquired, smiling at her.
"You know I'm not good at guessing" She frowned at him.
"Guess" He teased further.
"Oats?"
"No, bagels from the north. These are different, they're so milky and fluffy. I tried them out and decided to get them for you since it was nice" He calmly explained. They both sat down, opposite each other. The table was the only thing separating them.
"That's so thoughtful of you, thanks" She appreciated.
Soon, the table was filled with different kinds of meals and drinks. Seb was very good at taking care of her and she loved that side of him.
"Dig in" He chuckled.
