But back to the situation at hand, while Di Tou understood some of the logic that Li Chang Hu was expressing and would take it in mind when dealing with situations in the future, in the end he wasn't entirely swayed. He didn't think  that he was wrong in this situation.

"Hmph. You paint a beautiful picture... but at the end of the day it's just that. Perhaps you can't coddle the students, but that doesn't mean that you need to be cruel to them. A student came to ask your brother in trust, and he turned him away with a casual 'so what.' Is that what you call compassion?
