His Own Strength

Leaning over on the table, Di Tou couldn't help but fall into thought.

To be quite frank, he still hadn't recovered from the experience just now, and he wasn't sure he ever would fully.

That darkness…

It wasn't like the darkness of closing one's eyes, as even then its and bits of light would seep in through the lids.

But total, encompassing darkness.

A darkness that promised no light.

Shaking his head to try to reset his mood, Di Tou instead focused on something important.

Considering the kneeling and the rather vague manner of the scroll, Di Tou had already been trying to not over invest himself in the scroll as his main source of progress and cultivation.

While it seemed like everything the scroll had done and given him thus far was to his benefit, the problem was that he was going in blind.
