Wandering

Cultivation seemed like a very boring thing. Of course there were the rumored fights for opportunities and so on, but Di Tou hadn't experienced that yet. Up until now, cultivation consisted mainly of reading, evaluating, and practicing, with bouts of pain thrown in here and there. And that was even considering the fact that he didn't have to sit down and meditate or cultivate and only had to sweep some streets.

If all of cultivation was simply sitting at home and meditating, how could it allure a thousand lives? Of course there was the promise of longevity, but that was it. This wasn't a world of immortals, at least as far as Di Tou could see. Even the Supremacies were just that, Supreme for their generation, a flickering light in the river of time. And considering the time it took for the majority of people to cultivate, it was question if they even got to live their life more then they would have otherwise.
