Who Was The Hostage Here?!

Having come to an agreement, the girl seemed much more relaxed and started writing at a more leisurely pace. Di Tou, on the other end, could only lean back in the chair and try to pass the time. Anyways, this little girl couldn't talk to him, and even if she could, it didn't seem like she was interested in discussing with him beyond what their transaction entailed.

After waiting for a while, Di Tou couldn't help but look outside and see the sky darkening. His brows furrowed. He looked at the girl and said, "How long is it going to take for you to finish writing? I still need to head home afterward."

Glancing upward, the girl stopped writing for a moment before thinking while tapping her finger against the side of her wheelchair. After a moment, she raised up three fingers with a somewhat hesitant look.

His expression darkening, Di Tou said, "Three hours?"

Letting out a small nod, the girl didn't look Di Tou straight in the eyes.
