Looking at the woman peeking out through the window of the thatched mud hut, Bei Dou blinked twice and got up from the ground while cupping her hands. She ran over to the window and said, "Mom, you know Uncle Lee won't let Dad starve."

Rolling her eyes, her mom lightly tapped BeiDou's head with the wooden spoon in her hands through the window before saying, "Silly girl, did you forget that your Uncle Lee is in town for the weekend? Now come inside and wash your hands before going to deliver the food."
