An Early Morning Encounter

Feeling a chill run down his back, Di Tou woke up the next morning with a start. Lightly rubbing his back, Di Tou couldn't help but grumble a little as he got up.

Lightly coughing, Di Tou opened up the hidden door and looked up to see that the sky was still slightly dark, and he couldn't help but wrinkle his nose at the putrid smell of the pond. Feeling a little regret at his impromptu sleeping decision, Di Tou lightly patted his back twice as he let out a yawn.

Not in the mood to go back to sleep, Di Tou blurrily rubbed his eyes before looking around for a moment and deciding to go or a walk and get some breakfast. Although it was still a little early… it was never too early for the stall owners who would be out by four in the morning and would only go home at three in the morning… of course, this was two different groups of stall owners, but still.
