Two Weeks of Progress

Roughly two weeks later, Di Tou let out a yawn while brushing aside a few beads of sweat that had formed on his forehead. Looking up at the bright sun, Di Tou couldn't help but let out a mental complaint.

Although the fog had been rather scary, now that it was gone, Di Tou couldn't help but miss it, as it obscured the sun and brought a chilling but not piercing cold. In his mind, he had always associated the concept of "North" with snow, but the Northern Continent was anything but cold. The majority of the continent consisted of sweltering forests and hot grasslands, and while there were a few cold regions, they were the type that was rather extreme, from freezing desserts and icy tundras that even beasts of ice like polar bears would be scared to traverse.
