Of course, once the [Spirit Axe] had crossed the halfway point of the town, it had begun to become more sluggish and responded slower to his desires, but it was still plenty fast and just as good, if not still a tad bit better then the fluidity of control he had when controlling the [Spirit Axe] right by his hand before.

Reaching the end of the town, Di Tou hesitated for a moment before continuing to push it forward. Although he couldn't think of very many reasons why he'd ever have to push the [Spirit Axe] any further than it already was, as it was already just about to leave his range of vision if he was down on the ground, Di Tou decided that it was still better to know the maximum range and be prepared with that knowledge even if it was forever unused, rather then needing it and finding it lacking.
