Not Strength But Ignorance

In the end, Di Tou didn't have to wait long. Perhaps he was just lucky, perhaps the Heavens felt bad, seeing as he had already gone on a several month detour, but after waiting roughly two days, Di Tou noticed the scroll had shifted and he was now on the Eastern Continent. Not willing to miss the opportunity, Di Tou quickly waved his hand, sealing off his little hut and making it into a real mound of earth before stepping past the border and walking forward for about ten minutes. After he was sure he had exited the shifting lands, Di Tou turned around and saw that the scenery had indeed changed.

Letting out a slightly odd smile, Di Tou stared for a while before shaking his head and turning around to continue his journey forward. As he left, he couldn't help but wave a hand above him before quickly pausing and laughing at himself. Was he an anime protagonist? Who in the world was going to see him off in this forest filled with beasts?
