All the Same

Tomorrow was indeed a new day.

But whether or not it was to be a good day was still to be determined.

After thinking for a while, although Di Tou was nervous, he decided to believe Mu Di Bai's claim that everything was fine for the moment, and thus deviated from his usual schedule to visit Mu Di Bai's street early in the morning, instead of passing through it near midday while on his way to the food street to get lunch.

Arriving in front of the familiar door, Di Tou's vision flashed as he noticed the details. Although the dust and grime hadn't changed, and the place was still visibly in a state of general disuse and disrepair, the formations were lively and active, and the door had shown signs of recently being opened.

As Di Tou's heart pounded and he prepared to knock, the door was directly pulled open in front of him, and a familiar yet unfamiliar face appeared in front of him.
