Connecting the Dots

Pausing for a moment, Di Tou shook his head while laughing at himself. F*ck, he really was tired to be thinking like this. Of course, while the haircut and the shave probably had a bit of an impact, there was no way it was this extreme. This would require some testing later, but Di Tou didn't believe that such a large gap in efficiency could be opened up this way.

This wasn't simple disbelief, but understanding based off of his experiences and hard work. Raising efficiency was no easy matter, and it seemed to get harder the further he went. It was like the difference from opening and cooking at a restaurant rated three stars on yelp and four stars on yelp to going to a Michelin Star restaurant, in technicality, the quality of the food, while changing, could be considered a minor difference, perhaps the same from three to four stars and four to Michelin quality, but the amount of effort, training, and skill difference was astronomical.
